- Another 08th MS Team classic design makes its way into Robot Spirits! This was something we saw as an MSiA and, like many figures from this OVA, we never saw it again until now! This is basically just a repainted GM Ground but the color scheme is really neat and gives the figure a whole new feel! Plus, the figure itself got a new part; and some cool new accessories!

100% agree, this figure is worth it! The base and effects makes for some ridiculous posing potential. My only problem is that I’m a Zeon guy so it’s surrounded by Zeon suits on my shelf 😅

I like the stand and coolant pipes the figure comes with, cuz watching this review got me all hot and steamy!

I got two of them, future proofing my shelf in the extremely slim chance we get a 4th option set with the alt backback. glad to hear its just as good if not better than the basic GM
That’s smart. Although I highly doubt that we’ll see that unfortunately. If we get another backpack, it’ll be the regular Ground Gundam parachute pack I would think

From the descriptions of this one, I really want to add it to my collection, what site do you use to buy this one and do they ship to the USA? I really don’t like dealing with eBay.

Have had mine stuck in Canadian customs jail since April 3rd... Since then a RD Anime GP04, bought loose SH Figuarts Gokai Rangers Pink and Yellow Rangers, and most recently a SH MonsterArts Mothra have come through with no problem(granted the latter's figure box through the shipper, REEKED of cigarettes so they probably wanted to get rid of it). Ugh.
Figures they flag the 8th MS team RD I was most looking forward to hahaha!

do you have any solutions for loose arms/legs? i've heard of people using varnish on the joints, but haven't tried it myself.
I honestly haven’t messed with fixing it. Kei from HeyItsKei is great at stuff like that

My favorite release of the wave, not even exaggerating. My ONLY tiny beef with the figure is that the cables should be plugged into the rifle and it would have been cool if they also included the backpack generator or a standalone generator separate from the “stand”. Oh and my other tiny beef is that I actually preferred the smooth beam effects, but whatever I have plenty of them from other releases.
Other than that it’s perfect.
From what I saw in the anime, the cables to not hook up to the rifle. That’s probably due to the generator cooling off the MS generator to power the rifle. The Rifle itself isn’t a part of that process. That’s how I figure it at least
Looking at it again you’re right, but I can find examples of the GM Sniper with generator cables/cooling cables coming off the rifle as well. Oh well, it is Ver Anime after all.
@@barkingapollo yeah, there were depictions of it being attached to the rifle and having a totally different coolant setup as well but I doubt we’ll see that
I didnt buy this one but I really like the stand on it. Really adds some oomph to the figure that I feel like a lot of robot spirits lack due to their small size. Might have to reconsider

@@UCRDReviews I’ve been into collecting robots for over 20 years. I’m still surprised at how opposed so many people are to importing from overseas outlets. Lots of people are far more willing to pay almost double retail just because the reseller is western.
@@gogdog52 I started importing in 2001 (I think) believe it or not. It was when Johnny Ridden’s Gelgoog got released as an MSiA.
