PvZ Garden Warfare 3 Ideas! | Part One

  • Welcome to the first video of this series where I discuss everything about what I'd want for a Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 3! If you like PvZ GW1, PvZ GW2, or PvZ BFN, this is the right video for you! Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe!
    In this video, I overhaul the upgrade system, combining the best aspects of all 3 games in the series. I also address things like sprinting, gameplay mechanics, and more!
    All music in this video was done by Peter McConnell, but all on-screen illustrations were done by me, including the thumbnail. Only other part not by me was the explosion transition I used partway through the video (spoilers!)

      Will stamina upgrade perhaps increase the base movement speed of the character on top of the additional sprinting stamina?

      Oh. And another thing! Regardless of whether or not sprinting gets kept in your vision, is it okay if we make every class 5% faster than they currently are?

      @@CoralReaper707 1. I hadn't thought of increasing base speed for characters on top of stamina, as sprinting is finicky enough as is on whether it's useless or broken.
      2. The main thing I'd change is make most classes jump slightly higher (not noticeable on average), because a lot of ledges in GW2 are really tight to jump on, or just _barely_ impossible, where it feels like they should be able to.

      @TwilightChomperEnthusiast Yeah, increasing jump height definitely sounds good. Would you say that it would be possible to make chompers slightly quieter? They were designed to be sneaky.

      @@CoralReaper707 That could also happen, or have the majority of noise they make client-side to retain the personality they have from them. IDK what they were thinking making burrow so loud in BFN lol.

    I think a reboot/revival of pvz heroes at the same time as a theoretical release of a gw3 would also be sick. Great video!

    You clearly put a ton of effort into this video, and I would be lying if i said I didn't really enjoy it, I seriously hope you keep making this type of content, even if the yt algorithm doesn't pick up on it right away, if you make videos like these you're definitely becoming my new favourite pvz youtuber, my favourite part about this video is how you incorporated features from bfn that you saw as upgrades from gw2, and vice versa, im gonna type out my thoughts on this vid and i srsly hope u read through them :)

    Things from BFN that should be in GW3:
    -Colouring Cosmetics
    -Battle Arena
    -Town Centre day-nigth Mount Steep and Camp Near-A-Lake areas
    -All the characters from BFN including Iceberg Lettuce
    -Prize Map
    -All bfns Hats and Accessories
    -All GAG and othrr maps in here
    -The BFN versions if Deadbeard Chomper SB and Cactus
    -The much better leveling up system
    (Idk if this stuff is in the 2nd video)

    from the guy who posts comments on every pvz youtube video to now a content creator, u really do have some great ideas and opinions
    one idea i had was to make a gamemode based off pvz heroes where u could play as any of the heroes from that game and u are basically a juggernaut with custom abilites based off of the heroes classes and superpowers, idk i think it would be super fun

    I definitely wanna bring back the story modes like how bfn did, they were actually really fun. The gw2 story mode felt more of a chore than it did as a choice since it is what you have to do to unlock infinity time.

    Pvz GW2 is IMO one of the best shooters ever made, and this ideas are fantastic to improve and refine the concept of the PVZ shooters.
    Getting that out of the way, i hust wanted to say that, holy cow, this is great for a first video, good editing and pacing, keep it up and you'll get BIG really fast

    I think keep the vampiric upgrade with a buff would be good,cause vampire flower really needs it
    And i know there are low vampiric characters but let's add more,is such an interisting variant type

      @@TwilightChomperEnthusiast also forgot to add my own thoughts for ideas lol, but my idea is for cosmetics. In my opinion garden warfare 1 and battle for neighborville has the best cosmetics. Gw1 for the actual good cosmetics (because I didn’t quite like gw2’s) and bfn for the skins (because the legendary ones looked amazing) so I would want to see a mix in these, with a mixture of gw1 or gw1-like cosmetics and with bfn skins. I think it could be a good mix and match type of deal. Anyways can’t wait for the next video!

      @@1WingedKong154 The costumes I think work best as their own variants, as replacing the majority of what you look like may cause confusion to what character you’re actually playing lol. The rest of the customizations look great and deserve to stay, though.

    I agree in everything except sprinting , I think it should not come back at all people just always ran away from you and didn’t fight it was annoying , I recently played gw2 again and the feeling of someone not being able to just run away from you all the time and have to Fight back is more fun in my opinion.

      That’s why taking constant damage would stop sprinting, to avoid those situations!

    I really like the idea of stamina meter for sprinting, but tbh, i hated sprinting, it was one of my biggest gripes with bfn, I'd honestly just prefer a 50 percent speed boost upon respawning XD (this could also make spawncamping really difficult).
    As for the upgrades, im surprised you didn't touch on any of your own potential ideas, as I would've really wanted to hear some out as I cant think of any lmao, the idea of getting to choose whichever upgrade you unlock first is something that im a big fan of.

      Yeah, sprinting was really hard to get to a position where I felt it worked. I can understand giving every character a version of BFN's rollout upgrade by default, but it could make the change from fast to slow quite abrupt, and make any movement afterwards feel sluggish by comparison.
      To put it into perspective, think of the whiplash you feel from playing Lawnathon to a regular turf game speed-wise, but to a smaller degree.
      I also couldn't think of many new ideas for upgrades lol. Most of the default stat boosts are already in GW2! The idea of there being ability upgrades has been floating around, but like BFN upgrades, they wouldn't mesh with GW2's ability variants. Thanks, though!

    The only thing I want in gw3 is that you can't pay-to-win. In the gw games you'll need to grind. I like the idea that you need to grind but not paying to skip it. In the new plants vs zombies game you can pay to skip almost anything. I also agree with you're ideas.

    For a first video, this is awesome! Would absolutely play the game if it is exactly (or very similar) to what you described. Although, adding vampiric as an upgrade would be cool, so I propose a rework! Similar to what is found in Deep Rock Galactic, damaging enemies found in a radius (about 3/4 of Snapdragon's melee attack) would heal you back 1/16th of the damage dealt over 5 seconds before going on a 5 second cooldown. Vanquising enemies at any range would give you about 10 HP per hero and 2 per minion. Vanquishing in the radius would triple this amount. Hope you like this idea!

      I like this idea! The main reason why I didn’t include vampiric into the list is not because the upgrade is bad, but because there’s only one character that uses it. Same goes with Sonar.

    Nice video, i agree with almost everything; i would only miss bfn upgrade system, though your upgrade system ideas were pretty good making it feel diverse but not as complex as bfn 👍🏻

      Yeah, giving every single variant their own unique upgrades would be a massive task (and no, GW1’s flavour text doesn’t count. They all do the same thing).

    I think a neat idea for sprinting would be that you can only sprint if you’re above half-ish health. Also to nerf it.
    I’ve also seen people mention the campaign. While I agree, I think GW2’s dialogue was more witty and felt less empty.

      @TwilightChomperEnthusiast 1 I think ability upgrades would be great, like more damage and less recharge. 2 in modes with objectives I would like crowd control abilities to do 50% less damage in the objective 3. i think it would be cool if all modes had side modes in the multiplplayer portal (like tale of the taco for example)

      @TwilightChomperEnthusiast 4 I think pots and bots should give you vanishes. 5 chomper should just have sprint to make him better he also be able to sprint when he is eating 6. I think playing as bosses would be cool, but when you die your kicked out of the match and earn double the coins

    For spriting i awlays had the idea that you should start at 50% of the running speed and speed up the longer you run so that it's still usefull to get to the battle front, but isn't the get out of jail free card for combat

    I'd like to roll my hat into the mix. They should give the Plant's and Zombie's their own button to alert a Scientist/Sunflower that they need healing. Like a Foot soldier at 50 hp calling out for Scientist who needs healing then just you know... Them going into the point to get kills. So alerting your own scientist that your at low hp can help out a lot. ( In my opinion )

      That’s actually really neat! It may be annoying if trolls constantly ping a healer when they don’t need anything, so I’d probably make two changes to it. One, you can’t be above 60% health to alert someone, and two, there would be about a 2-second cooldown between each call.
      I guess BFN had it with the “Need Healing!” Text bubble, but that entire system was never used outside of toxic reasons.

      @@TwilightChomperEnthusiast Should give it a icon of Scientist/Sunflower and the background can show how much hp they are at. White means 100% - 70% White purple/Green (Green and Purple colors represent the team) at 60 - 40% And Dark Green/Purple at 30 - 1 hp. To show how much their hp is at.

    Interesting. I have some ideas as well. I would first want to start with multiplayer. I would make it an even matchmaking so one team doesn't get destroyed by another. I would also probably have a limit for each character around 3. The modes I would add for the multiplayer portal is turf takeover, team vanquish, gnome bomb, suburbination, and a mixed mode with all of those modes in one.
    Next would mostly be garden and graveyard ops. There would be a maximum of four people obviously, but people can choose locations of the garden or graveyard to be like gw2. I would also have the roulette slot machine thing back for wave 5 and 10 having most bosses in gw2. I would also have a ship coming to pick them up like in gw2 and there would only be 1 minutes and 15 seconds to make it.
    Next would be the campaign. This might be the longest one. So, a story for the campaign was an idea from myself and I found a message on discord asking people what the campaign would be in gw3 if it came out. I had the idea that the gnomes would take over suburbia (I would think gw3 would take place in the gw timeline). The gnomes are very powerful and most of the territory that was owned by plants or zombies. L.E.A.F and Z-Tech are still in business, and they take note of this. Then they try and fight off the gnomes, but the gnomes are too powerful. Soon, they have no other choice, but to team up, but they soon get along and plan out an all-out war with the gnomes. When it comes, the plants and zombies go to war with the gnomes, and soon with the combined powers, the plants and zombies win the war and take back their territory becoming good friends in the end. This would give people time to brainstorm some idea on what happened after all this. I would also make a giant singleplayer map for the player and friends to mess around in like gw2.
    My last idea is some miscellaneous stuff. I would add a multiplayer lobby similar to giddy park in bfn. So, I would add one, but I don't know what to put for it so brainstorm some ideas, but do NOT add gnome buff. Another idea is a map maker where people can make their own backyard where people can explore and mess around their backyard and create it however they want.
    So yeah. This is all the stuff I would probably add to gw3 if it comes out and did I really write all this down to give my ideas? Maybe, but it you decide if you like my ideas.

    If you're doing variations of a class for the Zombies faction add a Zombotany Class and for each variation make them a different zombotany each with different abilities but no alternative abilities. Love you Twilight Chomp and keep up good work. I hope PvZ GW3 comes out one day.

    Return of boss mode
    The idea Is that the maps have specific things that can help your team or annoy the enemies, like sprinklers that heal your team, movable walls that give access to diferrent areas of the map, activate turrets, stuff like that, and the way you see Is through security cameras.

    For sprinting it could work like this; you can rub with the stamina, but when you are lower on hp youre slower when sprinting, eventually when your hp is too low you cant run

    some ideas what i want to also add or change:
    grand master rank will return but instead of just level up your charatcer without getting anything is boring, soo when you level up your grand master rank, you are going to get +1 ubgrade slot but after you level up your grand master rank get next rank is going to be harder (2x more xp to level up)
    quests will also return but with more tasks to do instead of just kill 15 engineer or win a soul ops in certain difficulty, also i want them to do curtain quests for characters (like was in BfN festivals but now they would be permanent) what will give you a curtain item for your charatcer (like some legendary or special customization)
    Rux will also return with 1 week items and now they will AGAIN cost coins becuase rainbow stars in BfN is trash (we not talking about nintendo switch version) and now he will have 3 shops- for coins for stars and for rainbow stars, for coins you cna buy some customizations (uncommon-super rare) for stars you can akso buy customizations (super rare-legendary) and also you can buy characters abilities (dark bean bomb, bling barrel etc) for rainbow stars you can get customizations (legendary-special) and characters primary change
    to get rainbow stars you have 3 options
    first is compleate hard quests
    second beat rare bosses in the backyard (backyard of course will return but it will be bigger then in gw2)
    third buy them for basic stars in some place in backyard
    (to get basic stars you as in gw2 need to compleate plants or zombies quests)
    story mode will be almost same size as in gw2 but with more stuff in it (like cutscenes which was in BfN and yes i like BfN story mode)
    gw3 style will be similiar to BfN one becuase pretty much people like it (with some graphics ubgrades like little details)
    i have even more ideas but that will be too long.

    I think most of your ideas are great! Your artwork is also really good! I think the super mode duration symbol should perhaps be a mini-clock instead of a star, as the star doesn't really convey the intended info.
    Your reduction in upgrades I think is not the right direction. You say that the vampiric and sonar upgrades are niche, and they are only used for a few specific characters. So, for those characters only the specific upgrades can be made available, instead of removing additional variety and possibilities for the game.
    I also think, maybe once a character if fully mastered, perhaps they can earn character-specific upgrades for each individual character. One possible way this could work is that once they reach master, then they can keep upgrading it like BFN till Master+10, at which they are awarded with a character-specific upgrade and can maybe even upgrade till.

      Thank you for the feedback! The way how my brain works is that everything in a game should be able to form a web without any loose ends, and that goes with the niche upgrades for me. With one-character only upgrades being a thing, I find that it only bloats the amount of aspects there are without any meaningful impact. And to make up for it, the way I’d do it without removing the upgrades is to make more characters that can benefit from them so they feel like central upgrades instead of “Oh, what can we do to not give this character a damage/reload upgrade?”
      And for the grand master stuff, I’ve been playing around with the idea of making GW3 a completionist’s personal hell, by either making the maximum grand master prestige something ridiculous like 100, or just not having an upper limit at all, kind of like a built-in ELO for each of your characters. On the other hand, it would make for a completionist’s personal hell lol.

    I think "ultimate abilities" could be added, it would work in 1 of 2 ways:
    1: an ability that slowly charges while you deal damage or heal (or even reviving) and it would be a completely game changing ability (working like overwatch system)
    2: an ability that slowly charges while you deal damage or heal that buff all yours stats and adds a new mechanic temporarily (working like brawl stars hypercharges)

    I have an idea for the story mode. After the destruction of the moon base in gw2 and the re-capture of zomburbia by the plants, a deseperate zomboss would invade the gnomiverse for resources but that will trigger the gnome's wrath and the gnomes would attack both plants and zombies and the missions would be about defending their respective territories and attacking the gnomes. Maybe the gnomes could even be a third playable faction!

    I think some of these ideas are cool but I'm going to call it Garden W4rfare, GW4 or BFN 2 if it ever drops (BFN is GW3)
    Also here are some points of contention (at least in my opinion):
    -Sprinting: I think BFN's sprinting is actually good because of what you said, so that not everyone is just a sitting duck for tryhard agent peas.
    -Overhealth: It should still be in this "new game", despite your roast of Sunflower, because it gives a purpose to support characters besides fast reviving and jumping while reviving.
    -Variants: Oh I KNOW I'm gonna anger a lot of people with this, but I actually like the idea of there not being variants like in BFN, as long as the different classes compensate as substantial content, and removing variants makes the game easier to understand for newcomers since there aren't so many of the same class (looking at you Chomper). It would also compel whoever is developing the game to make something new for the game (Example: Replacing Toxic Brainz with the scrapped Toxic Zombie from BFN, with the not-nerfed beam being its primary weapon, or taking Iron Citron's general tankiness and 1 ammo weapon to make a Coconut Cannon character class instead).
    -Sticker Packs: I agree that they should come back, but I also like the idea of getting those bling variants too, so why not put those customisations in with the "gumball machine" from BFN?
    That's just my opinion though. And thank you for giving fair opinions of BFN, and not just shitting on it like most other PvZ GW youtubers do.
    If only Popcap was still able to update it 😢

    I personally had an idea, I don't know if the community would like it but, let's imagine a garden warfare 3 where there would be at the start a certain number of variants (4 per characters at the start) in addition to new characters (reuse some from battle for neighboreville but also new ones). Each variant would be more unique than in previous games with slightly modified skills. Example: Fire peashooter (I'm not English, I don't know its exact name) would have instead of its nuke bomb a pepper (jalapeño) that would do less damage but would give the status on fire which over time would amount to more damage; and its turret mode would be replaced by a flame thrower mode where it advances slowly causing considerable damage. certain character variants could have new functions with these abilities. In the case of my fire peashooter, it would be less good at a distance than a classic peashooter, but up close much more effective and terrifying for enemies, preventing it from approaching the point to capture as long as it is alive.
    With each update, the developers would release our favorite variants over the life of the game and in addition we would sometimes discover new variants and new characters which will also have their number of variants.
    Ps: The character variants would also sometimes have different animations, we can imagine the ice peashooter having a running animation or he skates as if he had ice skates.
    I also imagined funny things like cactus which would have its pure nut high enough, completely blocking the view, but it would have on its side a staircase to go up and attack, and catus would have by holding the jump key the ability to extend your neck as in pvz 1 to shoot high.

      These are great ideas! I actually made a bunch of my own variants with their own fully unique abilities, but later on, I decided that I wasn’t going to do that because of the work that it would require, and that the appeal of each variant was that it played like the base character, retaining its kit.

It definitely requires a lot of work and that's why I told myself that not everything would be available from the start. Afterwards I realize that it's always dangerous to modify characters that people are used to but it adds something new ^^
      I really hope they decide to do garden warfare. I also wish a better company would buy PVZ/pop cap because EA are really bad at managing their games.

    For the gold and diamond customisations, I believe they should do it like gw1 where it is a separate sticker pack as I do like some of them but it's annoying getting them in every pack

    My PVZ3 interests: Subclasses are an absolute must. Also, It'd be real cool to see Bonk Choy as a playable class! For a melee class, instead if being covert and stealthy like the chomper, Bonk Choy would instead be more high-strung and fast, with some very high reaching air combos to match the competition with Super Brainz players. Space Cadet would get a new feature: Her space station can now be joined by any class, not just other cadets, allowing for more flexibility and cooperation, as well as other zombie classes getting their ranged abilities amplified while active on the station. Space Cadet would also get some cool variants, like maybe a fire-elemental "Sun Cadet", an astronaut that harnesses the power of the sun to burn players.

    let's say there's everyone from GW1 and GW2 (minus promos) and we get what we relatively like GW2. that's 179 characters, 12 of the GW1 classes, (except Chomper, with 14) 8 of each GW2 class, (9 for Imps) and 5 for each new class. I think we can cut SOME of the variants. (I mean 6 Characters per class, no exceptions)

      @@TwilightChomperEnthusiast that's exactly what I put for GW1 and 2, but let's say the same applies to BFN classes, HG and TW, that's 167. my main thing was to make the classes feel more equal and to trade in cut variants for early progression to minimize hatred. my idea would to have 2 Rares, 2 Super Rares, and 1 legendary for all classes (2 new characters per class), and for the ones in the downsizing would be comped like this:
      Rare: 1 Wonderous Pack of Greatness
      Super rare: 2 Hyper Packs for that class
      Legendary: (basically just the Party Characters) 1 Phenominal Character Pack and 2 Hyper Packs of that class.
      I do get why that's frowned upon, it sucks to see variants cut but there'd also be a worse balancing issue than GW2 has now, and some of these characters are super niche. I went for a middle ground approach with this. Every new character is exponentially longer to add in, as you have to take into account how every character interacts with or against all other characters. it's the same reason why Clash Royale has very few new cards these days.

From a balancing standpoint, a more centralized cast would make for a more balanced game, which is why I think BFN was the most competitive game out of the three. The main thing it lacked was polish, as Brainium Basher and Citron were super overtuned, but not broken to the point of having no counters.

    I think that if you reach level 10 and you do something to warrant exp, it should change to coins so that if you reach level 10 in a middle of a online match and you don’t want to leave it, you can still play it and get some money on the side

    These ideas are great, but in my opinion there's almost no chance we will get a GW3 ever. They gave up on pretty much every single PvZ game, except PvZ2 and PvZ3, so unless a miracle strikes, there's not a high chance of this happening. Still, very cool ideas.

    I’m very late and I don’t know if someone else already commented on this, but I see a very small issue in the upgrade system. No matter how hard you try, a game will never be 100% balanced, and what I mean by that is that there will always be a set of upgrades which are seen by most players as objectively better for most situations. While this can be mitigated with stellar game design, my point will stand either way: Allowing players to choose their upgrades with no restrictions means they will most likely choose the best upgrades for them in the first few level ups, and as they reach max level the rewards will be basically useless to them. I don’t think this is completely fixable without completely changing the upgrade system, so I think adding some sort of restriction might be the best way to mitigate the issue. Alternatively, you could unlock a set of multiple upgrades at once. I’ve recently started replaying gw2 from scratch after years of not playing, so I’m excited to continue watching this series!

    Honestly we don’t need sprint in the next game we already have characters that have abilities that work around it like hyper do we really need to see peashooters with sprint + hyper? Short answer is No and this game shares this gameplay mechanic with classic halo where your always in control of the character always control of your primary so you don’t have to put it down or up after it’s animation. And they should also bring back GW1 pack system where it’s much more organized with certain packs that are specified on what they give you like if you just want bling items open up those packs simple. And that’s most of my big 2 things for this theoretical sequel

      I’m looking at how BFN’s version of hyper, Pea Souped, is quite balanced. That’s mainly because it doesn’t make you run that much faster, but in GW3, hyper will be reworked.

    I have a couple of opinions I would like to share, but keep in mind I’m a BFN player and haven’t played GW2 in quite a long time.
    I agree that sprinting in some form is probably necessary, because the fact oak and space station can’t sprint actually helps out a lot with balancing their high health and powerful attacks.
    One thing that annoys me a lot about BFN’s health regeneration is that taking just 1 damage completely resets the regeneration meter. It’s annoying to be starting to regenerate health, only to get hit by a stray bullet. Of course, this also makes grodey goop obnoxious. Instead, I would like a regeneration system where the regeneration delay is longer the more damage you take, and taking damage only makes the regeneration delay meter go back slightly, rather than completely.
    I would love to see the pots, bots, and summonable minions be greatly expanded upon. My idea is that the game has hundreds to choose from that each have their own gimmicks, you start out with some basic ones and unlock more by spending coins on minion packs. However, unlike GW2’s system, I think that once you get a minion, you would have an unlimited supply of them and instead, it would work like BFN’s cooldown system. You would also only be able to select a small number of different minions that you want to bring into battle. You can also unlock different variations of the same minion. They would summon the same minion, but the rules for being able to summon them would be different. For example, one variation would have a cooldown of 1.5 minutes, while a different variation would only have a 1 minute, except the very first cooldown before the first minion could be summoned would be 3 minutes. Maybe for one variation, the cooldown would be longer and you can summon as many of that minion as you want in a single match, and for a different variation, the cooldown is much shorter but you can summon at most, 3 per match. Let me know what you think about this system.
    Finally, one thing I do really enjoy a lot about bfn is its upgrade system, and I really wish it was expanded upon even more, compared to GW2’s system which always felt bland and boring to me. I feel like BFN’s system really encourages experimentation and choosing upgrades that go well with your play style for the character that you are using. Obviously BFN’s upgrade system wasn’t expansive enough to justify the removal of character and ability variants. If it were feasible, I think having both variants and a more complex upgrade system would be the most fun, but at the very least I wish GW3’s upgrades will be more interesting than simply increasing a single attribute of a character.

      I have no intention of giving the Oak and Space Station sprinting for those reasons. As for the health regeneration, I literally just wrote an entire page talking about how I’m changing Scientist’s heal station abilities, so that could help. I’d rather keep the health regeneration resetting to be honest,as it would inadvertently make a lot of characters bulkier than they should be, like for example Iron Citron. In my eyes, it’s a sort of necessary evil for the game to be balanced!

    If manual detonation ll comeback if the game is gonna be confirmed which is not gonna happen
    Manual detonation for each character ll only deal 10 damage since 27 and 32 is too much and outright unfair
    BFN had so much of out of bounds unlike gw2 where this denys people from abusing place that can't be reached for like an example some annoying plasma pea camping on seeds of time out of bounds sniping with his gun that has no dropoff
    Plasma in general shouldn't be allowed to charge midair like for real this is EP #2 due to his generous splash DPS
    Lastly respawning and attempting sucides grant you kills ll be back from bfn in my opinion this is the best feature popcap added in this franchise

    In my opinion, a good idea would be an ultra attack that would charge up and deal damage to opponents. just like you have in brawl stars ult👀 Such a super attack could be an imp mech or a sunflower Cool laser

    Honestly sprinting is such a huge problem in my opinion so a stamina is a great idea, thats why fortnite has added it,
    and having the effects like fire freezing effect your sprint is too much realism but i like it,
    having a way on how you can unlock any upgrade you want is something im in board with!
    it would be time saving i feel like having to pay 50k coins for an upgrade could be pretty useful to save time but at a high cost so i say its alright!

    Idea: the leveling up grants "silver keys" while special, class specific challenges grant "gold keys". Which unlock class specific upgrades. (EX: last ditch or peel out, in the case it's a BFN upgrade that wouldn't work for a variant, it will be locked out of that variant) Completing one challenge grants you one of 3 gold key pieces, as well as consumables, coins, stars, and sometimes cosmetics. The challenges reset daily, so you'll need to stay vigilant and fast about them.

    I think that instead of paying upfront you can unlock upgrade pieces from sticker packs to use to unlock an upgrade earlier the amount of peace is required to unlock it early is equivalent to the upgrades value so 1 for something like regeneration delay 2 for the ammo upgrade and 3 for the damage upgrade

    I like the idea of experimenting abilities but 7 slots sounds a bit too op so what about 5 slots instead of 7? I feel like that would bring more balancing.

      Well, BFN used seven slots, so that was my baseline. Perhaps six so you can fit 3 2-point upgrades like how one normally would in GW2.

    I think it would be good if you could sprint to the capture points without getting hit but if you get hit you cant sprint for 2 seconds or something like that

      I went over it at 2:30, as the prospect of disabling sprint as soon as you take damage would be super annoying, as you can take two damage from across the map and have to wait. The metre makes sure that the dame you took was deliberate.
