As a person growing up in the late 60's and early 70's, I cut my heavy metal teeth with the likes of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Rainbow, etc. I all but gave up listening to the radio, thinking metal was dead and gone, and receded into my playlist of the past. And, just as I thought all hope was gone, who do I come across doing a Google search of the WWI, 1914 truce? Long live rock and roll! Long live Sabaton!!
Hannes’ snare tuning is perfect, and the addition of Tommy making Sabaton technically top of the deck now in terms of musicianship - what a team! At 51 I’ve been waiting more than 40 years for a band like this. Love the history, love the music, love the band! Come to England more guys, you’ll be well received UK wide. You’ve grown so much since Wacken 2013 and soooo deserve to be headlining now!! Great guys, every one of them! Tommy’s voice is incredible, I hope he tours with Majestica - they should open for Sabaton!
Hannes Van Dahl is the drummer and a lucky guy, He married the woman who is a Goddess of beauty and voice. Floor Jasen, lead singer of Nightwish, is considered the loudest female voice in the world. A hurricane on stage.

I had so much fun when I saw them. Was my first concert ever in Portland, Oregon. Had to make about an hour drive to get there, my sister dropped me off at some bar and I had no idea, so the bouncer looked at my ID and told me to piss off since I was only 20 ( A bit nicer than that though) So I was stuck in Portland of all cities while my sister was at her own concert. I eventually got ahold of my sister and she sent me to the right place. Was a ton of fun. Was October 18th or 19th of 2019. Little did I know that in two or so months that Covid would hit. My fondest memory of it all is that there were a lot of dads and even some moms that brought their children with them. Some kids just did not care and sat on their dad's shoulders on a tablet for the entire thing, while some kids were genuinely excited for Sabaton. I remember hearing a dad tell his daughter that Night Witches was coming on. Something along the lines of " Look your favorite song" The other best moment was on the upstairs balcony. What looked to be a grandmother and grandfather, looked like they went along with their grandchild to the concert who looked around 24. That grandma was so into the entire thing though. Shaking her arms and rocking out while the grandfather seemed to sit back in silent approval and the grandkid looked like he might've been a bit embaressed. Sadly, I had this really crappy smartphone. Probably came out around 2014 or so. But was free. But I tried to record the concert, but my Phone could not handle the audio at all. So whenever I playback the video's it's always really messed up audio where you can't even understand what they're saying. Good times.

I'm a grandma of 2 and I love these guys. Never been to a concert before in my life so I asked my son to accompany me (Sept. 2021). He did and I'm so glad I went. Actually, I'm the one who told him about this band, he didn't know of them. ) Really good show!!

Saw these guys at St Georges Hall in Bradford, UK back in 2009 when they opened for Dragonforce alongside Sylosis and Glamour of the Kill. Significantly less fire! But a testament to these guys we were chanting SABATON! SABATON! Through Dragonforce's set as Sam Totman (guitarist) was so pissed he was fucking up alot... complete contrast to the professionalism and enthisiasm of Sabaton. They made a few fans that night as i had never heard of them before then🤘

Thank You so much for posting this! 💕 The mix is perfect! And the videography is well done as well. These guys were having so much fun! It was great!💕🙏🇺🇸
First time I saw them was amazing. I was in southern Utah when I heard they'd be coming to Salt Lake City as part of their North American tour while I was at work. I looked at my friend and asked him if I should take the day and go to a concert. He looked at me a half second, then turned away with a "Depends. Who's playing?" "Sabaton." His head shot back up and locked eyes with mine- "TAKE ME WITH YOU" So yeah- we took the next day, drove 3 hours north and watched Sabaton with 400 other metalheads. I'm just waiting for the day they start selling out in the States like they do in Europe.
I'm gonna go see them in Oakland in September, I've been listening to them for 10 years to the day. First metal band I ever heard, they got my start into listening to actual music when I was 8.
Got my tickets for Cincinnati on October 8, and I'm pretty sure my son is going to freak when he gets home from school and I tell him "I'm sorry son, we have to go to Cincinnati today. I know it's a long trip and all that, but we have to." and hand him his ticket. I can't wait
23:00 I don’t usually get chills when listening to music, but that fucking harmony with Joakim and Tommy went ahead and did it. That sounded damn near magical.
I saw them 2 years ago at the release festival , in Athens Greece. I knew them, never heard one of their songs, I was there for Blind Guardian. Sabaton were the Head liners. When I saw them I understood why. 2 years later I hear them daily and my 2 year old daughter is also asking to hear at least one of their songs! Hope i can take her to see them soon enough! I've never gone to a live performance and thought it was worse than the album...apart from Christina Aguilera...ugh!
The sound, the stage, the effects, it's all on point
New skin unlocked: Joakim with guitar
I did not expect to see Joakim holding a guitar when Resist and Bite started playing. I had no idea he played guitar.
He plays the Keys, his voice, and the geetar sometimes
I think most members in fairly successful metal bands have the musical ability to play more than one instrument.
Hammerfall for once have a recorded song where all the members have switched instrument.
I am a life long Nightwish fan was turned on to them by Floor-her husband is in the band wow what a find, great riffs and tied to history. Can't wait to see them in Sept in my hood!
thanks for video greetings from finland to all sabaton fans😘
Sabaton shows are legendary, every single time!
My proudest achievement in life is starting the "aubergine! aubergine!" chant you can hear in places throughout the set
when can we hear it please?
I remember an aubergine on a stick somewhere in the crowd
I could swear my French lessons translated ahbergine as eggplant? Why were y'all yelling for eggplant?😀
@@maryr.1650 somebody had brought a stick with a fake eggplant on it
@@parhax2140 Thanks for explaining

LOKO....

Will be in Reading in September. More interested in seeing them more than Judas Priest. Looking forward to it.
I'm going to that too!! In Youngstown Ohio.👍
The goose bumps I got when they started. Absolutely amazing!
Bismarck was the first Sabaton song i heard and I think it will be my favorite forever. So good!
Winged Hussars was my first. It’s a great song as well.
Same but meanwhile my fav is Red Baron
Christmas Truce
First one I heard was The Lost Battalion but my favorite is........I don't know. I just can't choose.
Wish i paid more attention to these guys. Only really just started listening. Played at download before but never went to watch them. Absolutely love them, the energy the beat... everything!!!🤘🤘🤘
This is a really good recording
If sweet victory is ever performed at the super bowl, I hope sabaton performs it

Sabaton for bloodstock 2025 !!
Same here, 74 years and metal-music in the top❤ grandma from Finland
This has to be my most favourite live concert of all time. Being in Canada we don’t get festivals at all. This is motivation to move to Europe!
RIGHT?! It sucks man!! I have to travel all the way over to Vancouver just to see shows, and even then it's lucky if people schedule tours there 😭😭
There is always HEAVY MONTREAL if you live close! And Sabaton WILL be in Montreal on October 22nd!!
Agresivo guerreros aguante che!! Saludos desde La Pampa Argentina con METAL EN LAS SANGRE
xD Qué fue manito?
Checked them out cause there at a festival I'm going too. No idea who they were. OH MY SWEET LORD this is amazing!!!!! I dont know what else to say. I'm just dumbfounded at how great a band this is. What is wrong with me that I missed out so long.
They're amazing. Welcome to the Sabaton army, friend
I fully understand, I had been missing out cor years until a couple months ago wheb they were on the list for a festival in going to, I fell in love with en livstid an krieg, I'll end up learning Swedish thanks to that song
If you are in the USA (like me) it explains you were late in finding them (again, like me) 😀
I'm 35 now and over the years and in my youth I obviously always saw guys with Sabaton concert t-shirts but only now with over 30 I come into contact with some good music and MAN I WISH I KNEW ABOUT SABATON EARLIER!
One of the best live performances I have ever seen. Outstanding!
They made a few fans that night as i had never heard of them before then🤘
🤘they need to come to bloodstock again🤘
2022 hopefully
Sabaton are teachers of history))) If school teachers can’t teach children history, Sabaton will do it)))

just wish they played the intro from red baron, it's one of the most amazing intros they have
My mother went to the tanks almost 90 years ago. To see them to be defeated before her birthday...03.12.2021. She saved for my kids...to let them see this world.
I wish this day 03.12.1938 will stay forever in memory.
Thank You so much for posting this! 💕 The mix is perfect! And the videography is well done as well. These guys were having so much fun! It was great!💕🙏🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome..same as studio recordings.
Salute and respect !!
I built an ikea wardrobe today while listening to this, very inspirational, thanks lads
Man, sabaton rule's. What a dynamic group!
I believe your wardrobe is now a fully-equipped boutique?
Music for building wardrobes - not certain that's a good thing but enjoy!

Adorando muito este som

THIS is what a live recording should sound like. Excellent sound!
Found my music for my Funeral.. Could be enough to raise me from the dead..
@George Grubb Does it involve raising your phallus to the sky?
Loved every minute of thisss

Going to see sabaton live tomorrow
...soo excited 🤘
Watching them Saturday with my son! Gonna be epic!
It's nice to see that after all this time, they still always seem to open with Ghost Division.
Amazing group!
