Ray never spoke about the basement. Not even once. He only mentioned he knew the location of the bench to marty when he went to pick up speedys key but never actually said where it was. He didn’t even tell any of his boys after all that time knowing.

i dont think ray has ever had a unique thought that he arrived to all himself. It feels like he can be manipulated by nearly anyone which is why he has found himself in so much choas lately. He is always being influenced and pulled into a different direction by the ppl around him rather than being his own self and making decisions that are completely his own. And to think there are ppl out there who view that as someone with traits that embody quality leadership characteristics and look up to someone like that as a leader they envy is terrifying and I feel sorry for them. Mcgregor saw Denzel and Harry and immediately thought they were getting ready to pull something on ray. Mcgregor goes up to ask them wtf they’re doing with his gun out. Harry already had his gun out as well and shot which mcgregor evaded and gunned them down.
