This could easily be made into a series. Just think of the endless possibilities you guys can make with this concept.
There's a couple of videos by Blue Television Games and I think DGR as well on a game that uses this exact concept (not officially Nintendo licenced of course)
So first we have Dorkly’s “Mario Gets A Portal Gun!”, then we have the “Mari0” game, then we have SMG4’s “Portal M4R10”, and now… We have this.
I recall a fan game called Mari0 that had this exact gimmick. Super Mario Bros but with a Portal Gun

Just noticed one thing, if you just fire once with a portal gun an then throw someone inside the Portal and just lay down the gun, will they be forever in Dimension between Portals? I mean they can only exit the other portal because of their speed at which they entert first right?
Well, at least within the Portal games themselves, firing a single portal won't open up a pathway between two points, it'll just be a solid wall until the corresponding exit portal lands elsewhere.

Missed an opportunity for Mario to accidentally destroy the Mushroom Kingdom again by sending a portal to the moon. Besides this, this is a great animation like always.
Here’s an idea for a future animation: What would happen if Mario got his hands on a different game’s power-ups? What would happen if Mario got his hands on the power-ups from Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc?
