    This is quite the rare sighting! This race wasn't part of the AMA Supercross series at all, it was done by a separate promoter. Here are all the rounds of the 1988 AMA Supercross season:
    · Houston, Seattle TWICE (saturday+sunday), Daytona, Pontiac TWICE (same), Dallas, Tampa, New Jersey (Giants Stadium) & Los Angeles
    Rick Johnson dominated the 250cc class over Ron Lechien and Jeff Ward. Jeff Matiasevich barely edged out Mike Kiedrowski and Larry Ward in the 4-race 125cc West championship while future FMX driver almost won the 6-race 125cc East championship but lost it on the final race against Todd DeHoop

      Yes you're correct Anaheim and San Diego were put on as the Coors Super Crown of Stadium Motocross ran by Micky Thompson. The 3rd and final round was ran with the AMA race at the LA Coliseum.
