Great video. I loved the tour of Pittsburg and the tour of PIT. I haven't seen that place since about 1990 when USAir ruled it. They've made some awesome upgrades.
That 'rat-a-tat-tat' sound of your wheeled bag on the PIT concourse drove me crazy! Interesting how the weather never much improved headed to LGA,no fog but overcast. As you were looking at the DL route map in their magazine,I know that WestJet is a codeshare carrier--they fly from my home airport,IAH to Calgary--bucket list trip is to fly WestJet to Vancouver BC from IAH via Calgary--and yes, please do a 717 trip. Are you going on holiday to Canada?
Hi Jazzguy! Great trip report, really enjoyed it! Looks like you had a nice early morning flight, definitely agree the Embraer 170/190s are the most comfortable! :) Will be travelling through LGA in November on Delta, so will hopefully be able to see the new Terminal G! Brendan
9:53 So...I'm scheduled to sit in the same exact seat on this airplane (same airline too). How did you manage to make it work in terms of recording the video with the window misaligned like that?
I’m not a fan of the Steelers but they are a very good team!! I’m from Miami but I’m a. fan of the Seahawks. I will likes to visit PIT someday and return back home same day LoL
DFW is worse on delays. There was one time where I was stuck at the gate for close to an hour and a half before departure. That’s the one thing I hate when connecting in DFW.
As far as I know you are from the Pittsburgh area Jazzguy 😂😂😂because you have made many videos in and out of Pittsburgh LoL 😂. If I were you I probably out and in of Miami LoL my home airport and also Ft. Lauderdale/ Hollywood International Airport
As always great vid!👍 Cool that you flew Delta this time. Visibility looked horrible outside. Funny how they don’t have 9 boarding groups for the 170.😂 Delta is my favorite airline and the one I want to fly for when I am older.
Depends on the airspace, radar equipment, types of planes etc. In the en route phase usually 5 miles. In the terminal area (around an airport for landing or taking off) its generally 3 miles. Vertically is generally 2,000 feet. Above 29,000 is known as RVSM (reduced vertical separation minimums) which is 1000 feet.
We don't mind at all, kind of fun in my opinion. Keeps us sharp on our instrument proficiency. The only time we don't like it is when it starts creating delays.
This is one of the better trip reports I have seen. I'm a mod for a big Aviation channel on here. Just wanted to say keep up the great work.
Man..... Excellent video. Great footage plus supplementing with images of what the flight looked like was a great touch
Amazing in-flight trip report man!
The kid screaming and throwing a fit during the wait for the tram sounded like an angry version of Donald Duck!😸
I miss Pittsburgh. Live there during my high school years. last visit was 2001.
Another enjoyable video…keep them coming!
I will be flying Myrtle Beach to Flint Michigan on june 30 of this year. very very excited. keep up the amazing content.

With all the fog at the Pittsburgh airport it looked like the terminal was sitting in the middle of nowhere
What was the turbulence like. I am taking a flight tomorrow and am nervous about this tiny plane.

i like the video
Glad to hear that!
21:44 Don’t planes have to be a mile apart vertically and five miles apart horizontally

Btw you can perfectly fly in a Cessna in this weather
If you were at the Steelers game on August 13, or the 14th I was there in Suite 355
Was at the game on Aug 9th
Been watching your videos a lot. How do you know what destination the other flights are going to?
Most of the time, I just look up the registration # and on the particular day I fly
Major major cool points for life
Very nice. Thumb up.
is PIT making a comeback since it was a hub like the 717 great airplane glad DL flies them
Yea it's definitely in a sort of comeback and is doing much better than say 4 years ago
8:32 the drinks inside that fridge was FREE for passengers?
Good question, didn't see anyone take a drink from there so don't know 🤔
Ron Paker The drinks and stuff like the water bottle he has on the plane, yes they are
Enjoy your videos!
Thank you!
