Full Flight: Delta Connection E170 Pittsburgh to New York-LaGuardia (PIT-LGA)

- Hey guys! In this full flight video, I travel aboard a Delta Connection E170 onward to New York's LaGuardia Airport. This flight was operated by Republic Airways, who also fly for American and United, but specifically fly this same route for AA. I found the service to be very similar, but Delta's hard product is much better than its counterpart. Except for the holding pattern we had to take before landing at LGA, this flight went off without a hitch and it was a nice, quick flight on a very popular route. On a side note, starting this trip, I'll be including a "flight info" section below in each full flight video from now on for anyone who'd like to know further details about my flights. Hope you guys enjoy!

Great video. I loved the tour of Pittsburg and the tour of PIT. I haven't seen that place since about 1990 when USAir ruled it. They've made some awesome upgrades.

That 'rat-a-tat-tat' sound of your wheeled bag on the PIT concourse drove me crazy! Interesting how the weather never much improved headed to LGA,no fog but overcast.As you were looking at the DL route map in their magazine,I know that WestJet is a codeshare carrier--they fly from my home airport,IAH to Calgary--bucket list trip is to fly WestJet to Vancouver BC from IAH via Calgary--and yes,please do a 717 trip.Are you going on holiday to Canada?

As far as I know you are from the Pittsburgh area Jazzguy 😂😂😂because you have made many videos in and out of Pittsburgh LoL 😂. If I were you I probably out and in of Miami LoL my home airport and also Ft. Lauderdale/ Hollywood International Airport

DFW is worse on delays. There was one time where I was stuck at the gate for close to an hour and a half before departure. That’s the one thing I hate when connecting in DFW.

21:44 Don’t planes have to be a mile apart vertically and five miles apart horizontally
Depends on the airspace, radar equipment, types of planes etc. In the en route phase usually 5 miles. In the terminal area (around an airport for landing or taking off) its generally 3 miles. Vertically is generally 2,000 feet. Above 29,000 is known as RVSM (reduced vertical separation minimums) which is 1000 feet.
Btw you can perfectly fly in a Cessna in this weather

is PIT making a comeback since it was a hub like the 717 great airplane glad DL flies them

runway 28 R parallel runway with 28 L also heading 280 degrees aka taking off to the west

I love foggy days like that, though I'd imagine the pilots don't.
We don't mind at all, kind of fun in my opinion. Keeps us sharp on our instrument proficiency. The only time we don't like it is when it starts creating delays.
