@@ZRHTrainspotter I think if your flying longer routes to or from Switzerland then I think Swiss is still a better choice than low cost carriers as they mainly use a330 and Boeing 777 etc but if it’s short hauls routes operated by smaller planes yes probably not much difference
I live in Zürich and have flown Swiss a bunch over the last 17 years. The quality of care they put into their service even for economy used to be very good. That level of service is really surprising, almost shocking really. European full service airlines need to understand that they must provide a nicer offering instead of trying to cut cost to compete with budget juggernauts like Wizz and easyjet. Give people more of a reason to choose them. I live in Asia and the full service carriers here absolutely deliver on that. I can always count on getting some hot refreshments and a full beverage service even on 90min flights. Europeans deliver on comfort, but that needs to extend to catering too. However, i’m still compelled to try SWISS because other reviews rate them admirably.
Zurich to Cairo like Frankfurt to Cairo or to the Canary Islands is usually served by shorthaul planes like the Airbus A320 with European Style Business and Economy Class without IFE, that is Lufthansa group standard. And in a shorthaul plane you get shorthaul service according to Lufthansa logic. So passengers could feel extremely happy that they at least got longhaul seat comfort and even First class and real business class seats on your flight 😂😂😂😂.
I flew this route regularly for three years. I would still pick Swiss when possible. I tried Austrian and LOT, but choose Swiss as it was reliably on time (rare thing in Cairo). Egyptair flies to Geneva but - ‘Egyptair, when you have time to spare.’ Also they very rarely used an a330. Almost always an a320/21
I had a similar experience on a BA flight between Istanbul and London. 4 hours and all they offered was a bottle of water and a little thing of cookies. As a US based flyer, I was shocked by the lack of options on such a long flight and it's given me such a bad impression of BA.
@@ZRHTrainspotterthe one problem I had with Turkish airlines was that the staff at the gate in istanbul airport were a bit rude when I was flying back to Hong Kong back in 2022 July when we have to get all the Covid requirements checked
My shortest flight 38 minutes it’s been served bottle of water and juice, 1 hour flight have snack service with Saudia in economy 3 hour flight of Swiss like flying with LCC, it’s like no specific service for mid haul flights just short and long haul service
Took Swiss from ORD - ZRH, economy meal service for the pre landing meal was a orange juice container (the same type I saw served with public school breakfasts) and yogurt.
Well, a 3hr flight = short-haul = no service on most LHG airlines. I guess the widebody A330 gives the feeling that one should expect long-haul service. Swiss has waaaay longer short-haul routes, on narrowbody aircraft, within Europe, that also don't get any complementary service. EG; ZRH-LPA that is blocked at almost 4.5hrs on an A320. Do I agree with this? No - they position themselves as a "premium" carrier, but they have been far from that because all of the cost-cutting and service reductions that have been going on. Nothing but a complimentary bottle of water and chocolate on a flight of this length is just pathetic and very NON PREMIUM. In the meantime I got full barservice and a decent snack on a 45minute flight from DOH to DXB in economy. Lol
I had a short KLM Citihopper flight from Cork to Amsterdam. Although not a complete meal, we did receive a can of soft drink or wine of choice and a sandwich. Then coffee or tea. But if you wanted more you could just ask and the KLM flight attendants would just give it. But you had to ask quickly, because the flight attendants were already busy cleaning up everything and preparing for landing.
Swiss Air hasn't been "what it used to be" for some time now. I decided to avoid them already at end 2019 because they were a 'pauper airline' 'sorry for the delay' already even then.
I’m not sure how I feel about this… if it was a narrowbody I think I’d be comfortable with the service offered. Widebody almost implies you expect a full service. I’m not sure where to draw the line between ‘short haul service’ and ‘long haul expectation’ but 3.5 hours might be a bit shy? Perhaps those 4.5 to 5 hours plus maybe I’d expect a fuller service although as you say compared to Austrian it’s a big miss. Ex eu we kind of expect a long haul service (especially from London +5hrs)
Sad to see how service on "premium" European airlines has declined, it seems like they have really fallen behind compared to US carriers. Even on a 1 hour flight with Southwest I get a choice of beverages and a little snack. No point flying Swiss, Lufthansa and the likes at a premium price when you get the same service level on Easyjet and Ryanair.
Even AA - perhaps the worst value airline here in the US - will offer Biscoffs and a full non alcoholic beverage service. The only reason to fly “premium” European carriers vs. LCCs within the Continent is to connect to a long haul flight.
I would say this flight is ok-ish considering my British Airways flight from London to Cairo last Christmas. BA's flight is longer (4 hour plus) while passengers are still stuck to the european-configured plane - most seats have not very good legroom and do not recline just like a low cost carrier. Sure BA offers cold sandwich and drinks but I would happily trade food for a better seat.
BA has deployed wide-body aircraft on this route in the past. Suppose demand has not returned since the issues of a few years ago, followed by the pandemic.
@@nickbiskinis4854 Absolutely. Much will depend on the economic situation and the value a destination can bring to the BA network (in terms of 6th freedom traffic). I mean just look at London-Moscow which some years ago used to be served by 747-400s with Club World seating (back then London was classified by Russioans as "Moscow on Thames" !).
You are right. In fact widebodies on eg Athens, Tel Aviv and Larnaca partly reflected the transfer connections via London Heathrow to North America but also at times inherent demand and cargo. Tel Aviv has shunted between short haul and long haul several times historically, whilst Larnaca at one point was 'Intercontinental' (technically Cyprus is in Asia). The difference was that within 'short haul' BA did nuance and vary its product - so that the longer routes had at one point films and music with headphones as well as hot food. I think many (myself included) assumed BA would use 787s to replace the 767s on some high density medium haul routes
I flew VIE-IST last on Turkish last April, a flight that was under 2 hours (shorter than this one), and received a full meal, so it is really surprising that LX provides such miserable catering.
Yes this is the normal Swiss plane. Flew Swiss 3 times, Zurich to Mumbai. Mumbai to Zurich and Zurich to Chicago. All of these routes have this same old layout. Swiss needs a refresh!
Swiss has changed over time. The same thing applies to Austrian. After Lufthansa bought them out, they have become more like a budget airliner, or at least this was the impression I got. Probably, this was done in purpose, so they do not compete against Lufthansa.
It is a real shame that the (most of the) Lufthansa Group cut all the services in the Economy Class a couple of years ago because "customers supposedly wanted it that way, so they can decide on their own what they want to order". Sad that SWISS didn"t say no to it and continued the way it was before. Good review! Hope the water was at least good 😂
i used to religiously watch simply aviation videos like 8 years ago when i was in middle school, now i'm in university and i'm back to watching again kkkkkkk
Not sure if Egypt Air fly the same route, but I wonder what their service is like on a similar length, compared to Swiss. Certainly is very disappointing to see only a bottle of water provided on this flight. It's the Lufthansa group and I don't think they are that good anymore.
So the flight took place in June 2023 - usually Swiss flies their A320series to Cairo so expect a different hard product too. Gone are the MD11 and A340 full service flights which were the best to/from Cairo during the 2000s and 2010s…
As a regular Swiss + other airlines flyer, it is easy to sump Swiss this way. It used to be a good airline. But now, it is just another horse in the Lufthansa stable, just like Germanwings. Food on Swiss used to be classic, now your best hope is buying a decent sandwich before getting on board. We avoid using Swiss these days on long haul. Try emirates or Qatar. Swiss is shit.
I flew several times on there leisure carrier Edelweiss from ZRH to Edinburgh (Scotland), Seville (Spain) and Heraklion in Greece, which are all shorter then Cairo to ZRH. On Edelweiss flights in economy class, you always get a Meal and beverage service on short and medium haul flights, except alcohol you have to pay for it which is ok. Lufthansa Group is great getting you from A to B, but otherwise its terrible, and they only concentrate on making a bigger profit every year, instead of improving there service a lot more which is a real shame.
I remember flying Swissair (way before it went Tango Uniform) many times in the 1960s on the Convair CV990 Coronado and SE210 Caravelle between Zurich and Manchester (MAN). The meal was a hot dog - a hot bun and a cold sausage. Yum!
But 3 hours IS short haul tho, and this level of service completely fits the standard for short haul in Europe. Sure Cairo is not in Europe, but expecting complementary service on a 3 hour flight is just not the standard on European airlines. Running out of buy on board tho is bad.
Honestly not surprised. Flew SWISS business class in 2012 & again in 2015 & found the service incredibly mediocre. Crew did the absolute bare minimum & the catering was minimal & similar in quality to economy class of some other airlines. Yet, SWISS' business class fares are consistently MUCH higher than their competitors on the same routes even today.
It’s sad watching the downfall of Swiss, Flew them from Boston to Zurich in 2019 Was amazing, Hot towels multiple meal services not a cheap breakfast I try avoiding Lufthansa group entirely now they have ruined Swiss and I am glad ITA never went through with joining them disastrous
By eliminating complimentary catering, Swiss can save a little bit of money, but the resulting damage to its reputation is considerable. How can this be worth it?
After watching many Lufthansa group reviews the consensus seems like classic German efficiency. You get enough comfort to survive the flight and beverage to quench your thirst, nothing more. Poles apart to JAL's A350 short haul domestic flights
Serious question about the landing approach from someone who lives in Zürich. So your plane landed on the runway 34 with a approach from the south with (I'm guessing you guys had some wind from the west which happens quite often) but since your plane is flying from south to north in the landing approach why is the sun in the north? The best explenation that I have that would make sence is that the plane is landing with a slight left angle (due the wind) and also the camera is angled slightly backwards so it is kind of a optical illusion to me.
fully agreed, I flew with them recently from Newark to Zurich and it was soooooo disappointing, this is not the old good, generous, hospitable SWISS, smells more like easyjet....
As a Swiss citizen who has to fly to JFK six times a year form ZRH/GVA.. I can't tell you how tired I am of these A330s. Also, the Swiss has been lying for about 4 years now about a refurbishment program.
For a three hr flight you expect food unless it’s a budget airline, you get a full service from Auckland to Sydney and other cities in Australia which is around 3 hrs even air no is going back to full service across the Tasman people expect it
In my opinion, on flights of less than 4 hours serving food is simply unnecessary. Food you buy at the airport before the flight is usually with higher quality than the food on the flight itself.
Took Swiss Air in 2024 from Toronto to Zurich. Best long haul flight I experienced in last 20 years. Yes, older plane but seat configuration was comfortable with 2-4-2 configuration. Food and Beverage service was outstanding (real cutlery in economy). Attendants are best I have experienced in ages. I would fly as 1 st choice.
I was shocked last time i flew Swiss. GVA-LCA, so almost the same flight time. Flew with 2 children and I had no idea they stopped offering food on board...its a disgrace if you ask me. Very disappointing. Never flying them again on 2+ hours flights.
So good that I flew Swiss that times, when they always provide meal service. Even in 1-hour flight they give Movenpick icecream or sandwich. Also with drinks & chocolate.
Hi there, how is it now? I’ve just booked a flight for it which can’t be changed but these comments are shockingly negative 😮 I have a 13h flight… should I stuff myself beforehand?
I flew Lufthansa from Munich to Tel Aviv recently on the A21N and while the hard product was an absolute crap, they offered a really nice inflight service of a high quality cold meal with real cutlery and several full beverage services.
David deserves a ton of credit for placing everything into context. So many other reviewer would seize on any little "gotcha" to create a clickbait thumbnail to push a negative story, pretending to be a hero. Simply Aviation shows true professionalism. That said, I'll disagree about needing a meal. Last thing I'd want to do is show up in Tel Aviv or Cairo without an appetite.
That’s weird that you mentioned that sister airline Austrian airlines offer food on board flights that are 3h long (at least) Me & my partner flew in March from Sevilla to Vienna and were not given food. Complementary soft drinks and a small chocolate before landing, despite it’s a 3h 20 long…
Servus! I flew Egyptair from FRA-CAI-FRA coming from Salzburg. The meal service was excellent and the food like in the old days. Egyptair just a bit chaotic on the ground but very good inflight service. The I flew SWISS from ZRH to Montreal and it is just VERY basic. I had better and friendlier flight crews on Easyjet and believe it or not on Ryanair on spanish domestic flights. The LHGroup is in an identity crisis. Keep your great videos!!
Great video once again! Would like to see you make many more flight reports about routes between cairo and other destinations because i get the feeling that these flights get treated in another way than routes to other places
ngl, SWISS was appealing in its early days (2000's) but since 2017 their service and customer care goes downhill! i mean their subsidiary edelweiss is a lot more pleasant and even for the FA's its a much better paid Job with more benefits... flown many times with them, always shocked when i board a LH flight how good their service n everything is on Shorthaul!
Last year I was really disapointed flying the same route as you with Swiss, even worse that the A330 that I flew did not have the IFE screen. Last month I flew with SQ from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City, just a 1h50 flight but SQ offered us a full service with complimentary hot meal.
I flew from Cairo to Geneva on Swissair on July 1st, 1956 on a Douglas DC-7. We left at midnight. In those days no table trays. Meals were served on pillows. Breakfast was served at the Athens Airport restaurant. We were supposed to return on September 1st but canceled our return. Terrible service. I believe Egyptair serve a meal. So it's like in the USA flights to the Caribbean. Most European airlines like British / Swiss only serve water. ITA serves a beverage which is fabulous. Wow I flew on their Airbus 220 to Zurich from Llubjana.
That happened to me in a flight from Amsterdam to Madrid on Iberia Express. I was at the middle of the plane and they had ran out of everything, not even water.
I imagine the buy onboard catering was flown in on the inbound flight from Zurich and the inbound flight diminished their stocks enough that there wasn’t enough for the entire outbound flight. Definitely isn’t the first time this has happened.
I would definitely agree they at least need sodas and pretzels, or an equivalent snack, for a 3 hour flight. Other than that, the plane looks comfortable.
Being Latvian I always take along my own food and drinks on any flight. 50 ml bottles of vodka or whiskey cost about $1 and are legal to carry on airplanes. Apples, bagels, packaged meat and cheese and granola bars are also inexpensive. There is no reason to complain about food service on airplanes.
Smart man. 😊 I always pack a "picnic basket" 🧺 when I fly nowadays. I've been on transcontinental flights in the States (4-5 hour flights) with only a small bag of pretzels served in Economy Class. Oh, how I miss the "golden age of flying" when passengers were well behaved and the flight attendants were pleasant and the cabin service included decent meals and beverages that were complimentary.
But if you're paying a fare that includes a meal service, especially a product with a reputation as good as Swiss', and you end up getting this, are you not entitled to feel ripped off? And is voicing discontent not the best way to get the airline to evaluate its product and make improvements? That's a pretty good reason, in my opinion.
If they sell the flight and they regularly operate this service, then it is representative. Just because this doesn’t represent your standard European Swiss flight, it is a business decision that affects people in on this and on other less high profile routes.
Fully agree: Premium price and stripped down low class service in outdated planes. And dont get me started on the outdated entertainment system. If your unlucky, you get a wet lease flight from airBaltic or some other garbage airline. Swiss sucks! And I’m a swiss citizen …
I have traveld with swiss alot an i totaly agree but as you might know swiss is a part of Lufthansa Group. I would test other airlines from switzerland and then compare.
Excellent trip report David! Given that I get free snack and drink selection on a 65 minute 50 Seat Jet American Eagle flight, only offering water on a three hour flight is flat out ridiculous.
I flew couple times Swiss Air from Zurich to Malaga and Istanbul in the past. They gave us sandwiches and drinks on both flights. A month ago, I flew KLM from AMS to BSL. The flight is only one hour and I got a sandwich and a beer. It’s very disappointing that a such great airline as Swiss Air, it has downgraded its service.
It is that, the prestigious airlines are paying a ridiculous service, i understand they want to cut off costs, but, at what price? By the way, Taag is also expecting in its fleet some new leased A220 aircrafts, as long as i can see they still have this engines problems, till when? i am just asking myself if it is not a waste of money, and some people believe the came dethrone the B737.
I flew First class from Singapore to Zurich in March 2023 and it was abysmal. The two male stewards were conspicuous by the absence all flight and had faces like a slapped arse. Whatever had pissed them off, it wasn’t me. On boarding I wasn’t even greeted before being told my seat was broken and they were trying to get an engineer to fix it as it was set in a reclined position. I was told that if it could not be reset and as the plane was full I would be bumped to another flight. When I said I am travelling with my wife the stewards answer was, her seat is ok! They wanted me to travel by myself and thought this was acceptable. They soon understood it wasn’t. After 30 min the seat was reset so panic over. The flight and service was poor, the staff were really miserable and had clearly had the smile gene removed at birth. The food was average and because it was an overnight flight the crew were not to be seen for long periods at a time. The cabin its self is dated and the flight was far from a first class experience. I will never fly with them again. To make matters worse they lost our baggage for 5 days, it was a nightmare trying to speak to their customer service. When it was found they expected us to collect from the airport, we would not expect accept this so they finally relented and delivered the cases to our home. It arrived filthy and damaged.
Only use Swiss if the price is much lower than other similar airlines. For short flights they only provide water and a small piece of chocolate. I was traveling in the winter, a cup of warm drink would be nice instead of a cold bottle of water. The plane and the interior were old. The only good thing is they have a small corner with snacks and drinks that you could take it yourself for long haul flights.
The service may not have been Swiss' decision but dictated from the Lufthansa Group. They also cut their services short during the pandamic. At least on long haul routes they have improved the service again after heavy criticism from customers. And on short haul they currently run a "trial" to identify whether free tea and coffee should be offered again (whatever there is to trial about) ^^
wow since I usually fly with Lufthansa or Swiss (they offer my route), I didn't know that 3 hours is long flight. But even in long flights I didn't get much food or service. Last time my TV didn't work and I spent 12 hours reading (apparently they tried)

Even low cost airlines in the US like Southwest and JetBlue offer snack and drink service on hour-long flights. Swiss really needs to step up
16 CHF for that ? 😭😭😭 in the mean time Thai, Bangkok Airways… serves a full meal for a 50 min flight between BKK and PNH 😭😭😭
Asia. Not Europe.
Really liked the good service on short flights in Thailand, unfortunately not in Europe
You know the salaries are hugely different...
I flew this route regularly for three years. I would still pick Swiss when possible. I tried Austrian and LOT, but choose Swiss as it was reliably on time (rare thing in Cairo). Egyptair flies to Geneva but - ‘Egyptair, when you have time to spare.’
Also they very rarely used an a330. Almost always an a320/21
Flew between Phuket and Bangkok on Bangkok Airways, 65 min flight. Warm meal, drinks and free lounge access. Economy class. But then again its Asia.
I had a similar experience on a BA flight between Istanbul and London. 4 hours and all they offered was a bottle of water and a little thing of cookies. As a US based flyer, I was shocked by the lack of options on such a long flight and it's given me such a bad impression of BA.
Turkish airlines on the same route serves a hot meal and unlimited drinks, inflight entertainment and more
BA is ok for short haul and goodish at long haul but has no medium haul concept for Istanbul, Athens, Cairo, Amman, Larnaca or Tel Aviv
@@ZRHTrainspotterthe one problem I had with Turkish airlines was that the staff at the gate in istanbul airport were a bit rude when I was flying back to Hong Kong back in 2022 July when we have to get all the Covid requirements checked
@@Holyspace305 oh, likely they were stressed with these COVID regulations. Luckily those times are over now 😃
@@ZRHTrainspotter I also remember some people boarding that plane weren’t able to speak English fluently maybe that’s why the staff got annoyed😂
My shortest flight 38 minutes it’s been served bottle of water and juice, 1 hour flight have snack service with Saudia in economy
3 hour flight of Swiss like flying with LCC, it’s like no specific service for mid haul flights just short and long haul service
Thanks for another great trip report David. The interior of the A330 looks very good. The catering options however leave a lot to be desired!
From ZRH to LIS flighttime will be 2:55, so Cairo is like an inner-europe flight
"Meal service included this bottle of water. The end."
The way I laughed and then quickly sobered up
Should i 😂 or 😢
I always avoiding european airlines.
BA has downgraded a number of previously medium haul intercontinental routes to short haul with the standardised model of no real catering
No excuses for Swiss - this is their EXISTING flight, and it is disgraceful.
I cant wait for the Condor business class video :D
Not sure if Egypt Air fly the same route, but I wonder what their service is like on a similar length, compared to Swiss. Certainly is very disappointing to see only a bottle of water provided on this flight. It's the Lufthansa group and I don't think they are that good anymore.
i think the Thompson Vantage Seats and the Recaros look amazing and super retro, which is lovely.
Are. The newer recaro seats have quite thin padding than the older one.
So the flight took place in June 2023 - usually Swiss flies their A320series to Cairo so expect a different hard product too. Gone are the MD11 and A340 full service flights which were the best to/from Cairo during the 2000s and 2010s…
and the flights are usually during the night when eating isn't the main concern.
I think it depends on the route! A more demanding route from the west coast to Zurich is better equipped
FYI, Zurich to tel Aviv offers a full meal and drink service. Not sure why they don’t on this route.
It’s sad watching the downfall of Swiss, Flew them from Boston to Zurich in 2019
Was amazing, Hot towels multiple meal services not a cheap breakfast I try avoiding Lufthansa group entirely now they have ruined Swiss and I am glad ITA never went through with joining them disastrous
It's crazy that they operate an A330-300 for this route. When I was at TUI and Monarch we did it on the 737 and 320. Don't miss those days.
I love the narration ❤😊
It makes it much easier to focus on the footage instead of the subtitles
As a Swiss citizen who has to fly to JFK six times a year form ZRH/GVA.. I can't tell you how tired I am of these A330s.
Also, the Swiss has been lying for about 4 years now about a refurbishment program.
even budget airlines like air arabia offer complimentary food and drink from their hub sharjah to cairo a 3hr flight
Interesting they don’t offer free catering. Air France offers catering on a 3.5 hr flight to Beirut, so ig AF is the better option?
I mean it’s a Swiss service, you’d expect there to be some holes
That’s weird that you mentioned that sister airline Austrian airlines offer food on board flights that are 3h long (at least)
Me & my partner flew in March from Sevilla to Vienna and were not given food.
I like your videos because they are always straight to the point
idk if it's only me but i'd always enjoyed watching brutally honest rather than normal trip report💀💀
me too✌️
Swiss is not a premium airline anymore. I hope they will change that, because also Lufthansa raised their service level
Ещё вареные яйца с жареной курицей скажи))))
But if you're paying a fare that includes a meal service, especially a product with a reputation as good as Swiss', and you end up getting this, are you not entitled to feel ripped off? And is voicing discontent not the best way to get the airline to evaluate its product and make improvements? That's a pretty good reason, in my opinion.
hope your going to try Emirates new A350 when it enters service later this year.
Lufthansa Flights to Larnaca is even worse - the same service on a 4 hour flight in an A320 or A321
They also fly A320 to Amman and Baku and Tehran, no service either! 🙈
WOW! I flew that route decades ago and they had Full Service in Economy
If they sell the flight and they regularly operate this service, then it is representative. Just because this doesn’t represent your standard European Swiss flight, it is a business decision that affects people in on this and on other less high profile routes.
Swiss has now put the A220 on this route.
The Saudia video is not uploaded yet
I think really think you should review Egyptair long-haul business class on the 787, maybe to/from Washington DC or Tokyo
Fully agree: Premium price and stripped down low class service in outdated planes. And dont get me started on the outdated entertainment system. If your unlucky, you get a wet lease flight from airBaltic or some other garbage airline. Swiss sucks! And I’m a swiss citizen …
Thats wild! Not even some complementary pretzels???
Swiss flag and personnel are the only "Swiss" things on this typical Lufthansa product!
I have traveld with swiss alot an i totaly agree but as you might know swiss is a part of Lufthansa Group. I would test other airlines from switzerland and then compare.
Swiss is now one of Skytrax’s Top 10 Airlines! Hope to fly with them soon.
Excellent trip report David! Given that I get free snack and drink selection on a 65 minute 50 Seat Jet American Eagle flight, only offering water on a three hour flight is flat out ridiculous.
1 Biscoff cookie or a small packet of Pretzels is NOT a Snack, lol.
That food looks good. Better than some first class meals in the US.
Love your videos man, what do you use to edit videos?
The flights from ZRH to TLV includes light meal
I recently had a first class flight on Swiss which from Japan to Zürich and they gave one full meal and a snack before landing. And few days ago i had a flight on business class on Swiss from India and they gave a snack after take off and a small breakfast before landing. The service of Swiss is super disappointing nowadays to say the least. Just couple of years ago I few 4 first class flights with Swiss and I got 3 full meals and at least 2 full meals on business class.
Sorry, but this is just not true. In First always two full meals are served on day flights and snacks in between, the service in First hasn‘t changed for at least ten years and from India to ZRH you can have a full meal or snack after take off and a full breakfast before landing, these are both night flights departing at 1 am, you need to consider that.
@@Kuemmernis66 so you are accusing me of lying? The flight from India was a night flight but I did receive a proper full meal a year ago compared to the flight I took few weeks ago. And the flight from Japan wasn’t a night flight completely.
@@RUNWAY05 I would suggest you turn the drama down. I did not say that you're lying, but obviously you have perceived things wrong and made wrong assumptions. Plus I didn't say that NRT-ZRH was a night flight, I was referring to DEL und BOM.

On a one hour Thai Airways economy flight, I was recently served shrimp fried rice and a beverage.
Fantastic review. Ugggh, I need this to be my life. There is a serious deficit of me sitting inside of airliners.
Avoid, bad airline, poor customer service. They didn't have any hesitation to ask for 16000USD for the same business class ticket they themselves cancelled ( Singapore to Zurich)! Abhorrent horrible company
I flew on their A330 economy to Beijing back in 2017, it was very good i remember, sad to see this right now
Very sad to see Swiss, a great airlines before, becoming a cheap low-cost airline :( I remember flying on Swiss 1 hour flight and still getting a hot sandwich and wine
European carriers are just embarrasing at this point, i recently flew on China Southern from Dalian to Xi'an (a roughly 2 and a half hour DOMESTIC flight on an airline thats not really known for being a first class carrier) and i got a free hot meal and they served drinks throughout the flight.
Swiss offers same type of meal “service” in flights to/from Beirut… Disastrous 🤦🏻♂️
