beautifully subversive! It seems to demonstrate the strength of the original composition by Sting, as well as the skill/intelligence of this interpretation. Wonderful.
🤤 que maravillosa forma de adaptar una voz de contratenor a la música popular, el público debió quedarse estupefacto. Iestyn es uno de los mejores contratenores actuales, y canta con un gran sentimiento y pureza.
+MrXeytan I have a very varied and wide taste in music, but just not a prepubecent Alex Jones voice coming out of a grown man. Sorry I trolled this guy as I'm sure he's a very, very decent human being indeed and I'm sorry if I plugged into his insecurities. He obviously has many admirers and for that reason I will back down graciously. Iestyn Davies, you have my respect sir and just count me as a loon who just doesn't get this sort of stuff that's all. Love and peace and all that ;-)
+Monte-Carlo Gaz Love and peace to you too. The fact you don't like this version is ok. . This does not mean he killed this song. And, every artist is insecure ;-)
Did you at all consider the possibility that the fact that you seem to find a countertenor voice categorically "disturbing" might tell rather a lot more about your own prejudices than the abilities of Mr Davies?
Clearly the audience wasn't expecting this but you won them over. And me too. Beautiful.
Amazing! I could listen to it all day! Bravissimo!
Amazing interpretation by one of the most gifted singers today. Well done!!
Breathtaking... Thanks a -big- lot!
Gorgeous voice and interpretations and so handsome too xxx
So effing beautiful, Iestyn! Thanks for posting! Huge fan!

From your postings, which bit is 'rot' and which is 'unbearable'?
Wonderful! This only illustrates that music is music - and this haunting song (beautifully sung here) is as 'valid' as any modernist 'art' music.
This is incredible beautiful! Thank you for making this.
As a lover of early english music this is one the greatest things I have ever heard.
Merci pour cette interprétation... bravo !
This is GENIUS! (Also incredibly well sung and played!)
Pleas keep going with these magical blends.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! Now us countertenors need to do some Beatles!!
OMG! That was gorgeous!
had me crying some big tears after listening for a few times.
Beautiful and expressive! When will you come back to Colombia?
Just beautiful
Omgggggg, so beautiful! 💕💕💕💕💕
Iestyn thank you! So beautiful!
Iestyn is this track also on the disk? So amazing.
I’d love to hear you sing “Fragile”!
Uncanilly transported to 1600's Lovely as can be X
Beautifully sung but it makes the lyrics sound really creepy like some serial killer stalker.
I love this! Possibly a bit too cheerful for Dowland?

What is it to do with Pavarotti and Sting! Please don't spam here!

Pavarotti & Sting Duet "Panis Angerlicus" is a JEWEL! NOT spam.
Unfortunately no longer available.
He killed a great song. Honestly, what do people see in this disturbing nonsense of a voice.
+Monte-Carlo Gaz That's not what Sting wrote in his email to me...but I trust you.
+Iestyn Davies-Countertenor Monte-Carlo has no taste in good music. But that's not a crime
