Man I just picked up an 84 f150 exact same truck you got and I was gonna do everything you've done with yours so far haha. I just don't know what engine I wanna swap it with but your videos have been making me lean towards the ls swaps
Truck looks and sounds great. I'm in the middle of an LS2 into 1979 F350 Supercab swap, and used the Autofab motor and tranny brackets. Outstanding product and service there. Appreciate your walk through, and follow up.
Im not sure on that specific truck. But you could always get the diagrams and start picking until you get it. Guys Cummins swap those all the time. Probably some good info out there.
*That's a really cool build. I have a 1987 F150. I really would like to do this with my truck. I appreciate the content you have put up. This is some good stuff for bull and brick-related swaps* Dexterous X
Sweet truck. I’m 15 and just bought my first truck, 1986 F150. Im doing an Ls lq4 6.0 swap just like you did, also with the 4l80e transmission. What did you use for transmission mounts and crossmember?
I used the stock cross member, but I had to move it. Then I built a small spacer that bolts to the trans and then to the top of the stock trans mount to raise the 4l80e up a bit
Sorry to bother you again. I have a few more questions. In your last video in the description you said there is a company that makes motor mounts for ls swaps in these bullnose trucks. I could not find that company, do you happen to know the name of the company? Also when you said you used the stock crossmember you mean you used the one in the ford not the donor, right? Thank you

Glad you found some value in my ramblings
Been contemplating dropping a ls 6.0 in a 2008 f350. Im sure tying into the ford wiring will be a job

Nice. What hose you use to you radiator I am doing a swap to on my 79 ford
What headers you use
So happy to see a fellow 6.0 LS swapped bullnose, thought I was alone!
I'm not alone anymore? I thought I was too
I’m next. What’s the budget on this swap?
What engine mounts did you use?

I'm glad you like it. I've been working out of town, or I would do some more vids, but just don't have the time!
Amigo, me podrías compartir fotos del motor completo y de los soportes para ver más a detalle
Sure, I'm out of town, but when I get back home I will
Nice! I have a 89 f150 LS swapped with a 5.3! Don’t see too many swapped fords. What brand is your gauge cluster?
New vintage usa. I have a video on them
Hey do you have a list or a receipt somewhere of what it cost you and every single part you had to buy for this swap?
I might have a list. I will look
Interested as well
Badass truck man
Thank you
How did you link the gauges?
The new vintage gauges link together. It's how they are made
Where you get your gage clister from? Im working on a 86 bullnose swap
That is from New Vintage USA
@@LSbullnoseeverything still working fine on you cluster buddy??

Ok cool. I heard from your other video that you used speedway engineering headers. Did you use long tube headers? Thanks
@@carder761 they are Speed Engineering. Yes they are long tube
Ok, thanks
