Hi Professor can you please explain why did these ships had stone anchors when we already had the iron smelting technology in the country
Dear, just think.. The people who do the metal industry they lived in the mountains area, so the ships must have been built near to the coast. So why they want to go all the way to mountains to find a metal anchors.. its easy to use stone anchors. And also they can save worthy time. 😌
@@kamalabeyrathne9719 That explanation just doesn't make sense. It's not like you have to fetch anchors everyday from mountains even if the iron industry was just in the mountains.
