Unfortunately this isn't really a Pikmin Series Explained (in 9 minutes) or a Something About Pikmin SPEEDRUN, but it still tries to explore The Horrors of Pikmin . Maybe next up is something like Can You Beat Pikmin 1 Using Only Yellow Pikmin . Maybe that would be more like This Level 1 Pokemon Breaks the Damage Equation . - เกม
Brilliant, though this is easily countered with 4 yellow pikmin with bomb-rocks.
the use of yellows implies the use of the pikmin 1 bomb-rocks which disintegrate when in contanct with water, so you would have to get the white pikmin while on land. If you were to have your own squad of blue pikmin holding the pikmin 3/4 bomb-rocks, you could use them underwater countering the blues and not allowing the whites to retrieve it in Japan. Using the pikmin 2 bomb-rocks from the battle mode, you would still have the land only issue because we can't go that deep underwater to get to the blue pikmin.
This also can be countered by purple pikmin + ice
@@lukeblack8146Just carry stack the Statue of Liberty so you can transport it incredibly quickly once you have enough Pikmin, then you wouldn't need to carry it underwater, and it would take a day or two of transportation time if you spent a week applying carrying stacks to it.
Ah see but I found the fatal flaw. The area of the base of the Statue of Liberty is 2809 feet across and assuming pikmin are about .5 inches in width, that means that shoulder to shoulder you could only fit 674,160 pikmin under the statue so you would be forced to use some of the flying ones to carry it throughout the whole heist :). Great video as always!

You forgot that all underwater objects are affected by buoyancy, even if they sink. Copper specifically weighs about 16.3% less when acted on by the buoyant force of water, however that is probably distilled water and salt water likely has a slightly higher buoyant force. That would be closer to 1.8 million blue pikmin for the underwater section.
Edit, statue of liberty is made of 31 tons of copper and 125 tons of steel, not gunna do the calculations but that changes the number obviously.

Not to mention I think it would take longer than 4.5 years to cross the pacific ocean because I assume that math is "as the crow flies" or in this case "as in the fish swim" because the pikmin would have to walk on the ocean floor and that won't be completely flat

Ship could suck up the statue and spit it back at HQ. Also I think winged pikmin would be faster since blue and winged carry speeds are the same and winged pikmin wouldn’t have to navigate the ocean floor with a bunch of predators. Mix it up with a spicy spray and double the amount of pikmin carrying it to make the travel time shorter and you might be able to get it done in 1 year or less (assuming you don’t have to grow and pluck all the pikmin)

Thank you, i was so frustated at that. Also, how would the blue pikmin carry the statue across the sea? Sure they can transport stuff underwater, but they would sink so low that they couldn't get back up

@@RGC_animation well that Gameboy may have been gutted but the screen still comes on so it could me full of helium or something and I mean could say that the reason the shika tech isn't in totk is because it just disappeared then Nintendo can say that treasure that it's lighter then it should be is full of helium or distortions gravity so one unit = what ever Nintendo wants
Don't pikmin move faster if you add more than required as well? I know I'm always adding extra pikmin to make them go faster.

They do! The speed formula is based on how many Pikmin are used and what the max carry number is. I assumed here that the max carry number was also the number required to lift the statue

2.2 million blue pikmin would easily take them on + Maybe miyamoto is a dandori god and he will kill all the creatures
Enough blue pikmin can shred anything, a great white wouldn't even be a problem because they are too small for it to bite and would kill it from the inside.

You are able to have a maximum of 2 times the amount of Pikmin carry an object. That means that an object of weight 10 can have 20 carry it, and an object of 2,2 million can have 4.4 million Pikmin carry it. And the more Pikmin that are carrying it, the faster they go, so you should always have 4.4 million of each species of Pikmin on you to pull off this heist as fast as possible.

What can also make the operation faster is if there are twice the number pikmin of each squad, making the evasion of the police faster
great video but as an offifical pikmin loser, there's one flaw and that's pikmin strength.
Sure we can use the objects made by nintendo as our base, but you forget the Golden Vaulting Table, a gold bar stated to weight exactly 1 kilogram. It's etched into the bar itself that it weighs such. This is the Doomsday apparatus of Pikmin 4 and requires 10 purples to carry.
1 kilo is 1000 grams, and if it takes 100 purples who can each have a carrying capacity of 10, then each pikmin should carry 1 gram. This the 450,000 lbs statue of liberty should actually take the strength of 204,116,567 to carry or 20,411,657 purples. This is assuming that PNF-404's unit system is 1-1 with our world's, but witht he existence of nintendo devices it's possible.
Glad to see the video is doing better
You should have a backup of each individual squad ready in the onion(s) just in case. This will account for any potential casualties as well as the possibility of pikmin lifespans being too short for every squad to make the entire trip, mostly the blue pikmin with the bulk of the time

Okay so I’m guessing you haven’t played pikmin, do you know what flowered pikmin do? I don’t know the exact speed increase but it exists.
But here’s another problem, there’s a special spray that makes pikmin move even faster, meaning you could make it even faster if you could somehow apply it all to them.
And honesty you should just redo your formula for moving items since heavier ones move slower, look at the golden vaulting table compared to a sheargrub. You’d need to find how much it increases by.
And before I’m done, might I add that winged pikmin move slower if there’s more than like 60. I’m sure the exact amount but it’s less.
Yeah there’s a few more variables
Few things to add to this. Spicy Spray is misleading, yes it does speed up Pikmin but said speed is the same for all pikmin and it's actually slower then a Flowered White Pikmin, which becomes slower when Spicied so it would only be useful for the Blue Pikmin.
As for the Winged Pikmin, it's actually more, with them acting 30% slower after 67 or more pikmin are on the field.
Lastly the golden vaulting table isn't a good example. It's not slow because it's heavy, it's slow because of a combination of factors. Outside of requiring 100 of the slowest pikmin the main problem is the fact the object weights 1000 units but can only be carried by 100 pikmin. Part of the travel speed formula ultimately involves the amount of pikmin carrying the object to be effected by the object's unit weight, which is part of why Purple Pikmin are especially slow on their own (only the total pikmin carrying matter not the amount of units being carried) but specifically in regards to the 1000 pound items it pretty much guarantees the travel speed is set below the normal threshold and just defaults to the lowest speed possible. If it was possible to have 100 red pikmin carry the gold bar instead it would be astronomically faster let alone whites.

Dang Purple Pikmin can carry 91.7 grams
They only carry 10 using the gold bar in pikmin 4 that weighs 1kg it needs 1000 pikmin to lift or 100 purple pikmin
Doubling your squads carrying the statue, as well as making them all flower Pikmin, could cut the journey time down a significant amount, it might one take 2 years now. You could also use spicy spray but you’d have to use so much and reapply it so frequently that it isn’t worth it
Aside from the blue Pikmin (for the water) what if Mother Nature says lol rain or during the trip in the americas a wildfire or even a tornado specifically ones that can suck up the statue of liberty as well like f-4 or f-5 and god help them if f-6 is possible and idk for wildlife during this
(Also what if one dies during this? It’s going to be a stop until another one is replaced)
I'm why you didn't pick purples but purples and others types (white in this case would bring them down to 2.5x the normal pikmin but it is necessary bc there isn't enough room on the bottom and we counting super spicy spray bc it makes pikmin taste bringing the purple rebuff not matter much and we doing winged in 3 or 4 cause winged the fastest type in 3 and whites wouldn't need to really run they're already hard to see bc of how small they are especially whites but also super bitter spray or whatever it's called could just stun them and winged pikmin aren't the slowest they just aren't as fast could be faster than blues but bc they are flying instead of being underwater ig but still also finally flower the pikmin they go faster
But you forgot to calculate that they carry items faster if you throw more pikmin at it.
