what a ride ! Again, the last time we passed there was 1970 at the end of the civil war. I was just a kid and we were in refugee camp in Ihala. I dont know if the spelling of that Town is correct. However, it was the last stand that the Biafran troops made. At the end we marched by Foot from Ihala to Onitsha my mother's Home town before heading to ASABA in Midwest Region. We left the Country in 1976 and never return to eastern Region. As I told you previously, I am retired and use this video of yours as a form of therapeutic treatment for a 67 year old Nigerian American. Take care and more gratitude to you.
If you see this comment please help me thank Aunty Flo for the gift/ Omugo package she sent to my baby girl and I after commenting on her last video. I still lack words honestly but all I have to say is thank you ma,may God bless and replenish your pocket Aunty Flo ❤❤❤
I so much love your nigeria/village vlogs especially when your grandma is praying; it is as if she is praying for us your subscribers. Thank you so much for sharing these precious moments with us Sister Flo.
It's always a joy seing Mama Eziagu. The gift of longevity is a blessing that only God can give. She is definitely a prayer warrior. May God continue to keep her. It appears she needs a bigger house though.

Yeeeh Flo this is what I was waiting for. My kick of the whole journey is passing upper Iweka because I was born and bred in Onitsha. Over here Sis from 🇺🇸.
I see yellow Osite bus and the white and blue UNiZIK buses. Used to pass this road when I used to go from Nnewi to Awka or Enugu. Very wonderful video as always.
Abi? The village is the best. If not that the bad guys are ruining it for us, na to go there and spend 3 months of long vac during the rainy season eating roasted corn and pear. 😞
Aunty Flo, daalu! Im glad that you went home and even saw Nigeria and honestly, i wanted to go there again. When i heard about the frogs and frauds in Aso Rock, it hurt my heart. Yet, at least you always make lemonade out of lemons. Thank you so much for showing the people your world.
Yes, she is very hard working. One of my pet peeves is timidity. So I try as much as possible to expose all of them to "novelty" at every opportunity. That's why I told them to set it up and try it out when done. So tomorrow when they see such they won't be moved by them. But if your timidity can't be cured, if you keep mumbling whenever I ask you something, then abeg don't come around me. 😂😂😂
Ty for this video. I know someone who lives in Awka, so the video was very interesting and informative for me. Especially liked the end, beautiful mother praying thanks. So touching. ❤️🌹✔️
@@FloChinyere Yes, I recently met Fadabarto on line - he lives there - Anambra. He is talented musician, composer, content creating man of God. ❤️ would love to travel there someday. I'm here in USA since birth 1960. I've never traveled outside but it is on my bucket 🪣 list.
@@maremare1655 one thing that will make me so happy is an opportunity to one day, host all my viewers that want to travel to Nigeria. Sadly, due to bad leadership, this is not a good time to go to visit due to insecurity. @@FloChinyere 😲 wow, I applaud your optimism and hope, you would be a great host - I hope to see that happen one day. I like the new machine. Good that you returned the first one. I bought that one and it doesn’t work at all. Will look for this silver crest, it looks good. God bless Princess for gifting mama ❤
Ahhh you are talking about the one I bought for my sister-in-law. I later bought a red and white Veritas one for her 👉 th-cam.com/video/YCnsq5jOdyg/w-d-xo.html And that one is good too. As you rightly said, this was the only road then. Federal road that was never maintained then. We travel from nsukka and once we make a left turn at the roundabout in amaobia its nightmare. First was the hausa cattle market in nise, then car wash people. The agulu lake road was nice when it was built. my dad will stop to buy aki na ukwa at the junction lol. Was shocked few years ago when we went home to see the road network Peter Obi built that made folks not bother with this road anymore like b4
This road runs from Amawbia all the way to Uga and back then it was the only road serving the whole of Anambra Central and Anambra South yet they did not deem it fit to be maintaining it. We really suffered. They only came and patched it during Ekwueme's burial so they can find way to Oko. The cattle place used to cause a gridlock during Christmas before they moved it to Ugwuoba side. That Agulu Lake road has tried, it was Peter Obi that built it to the present solid standard. I doubt that Obiano maintained that road during his 8 years in office. We don't rave about Peter Obi for raving sake. Those who are looking for flyovers he built will continue to look. But those of us who know how his human development projects transformed Anambra will continue to appreciate him.
