Completely agree that country music is a community bond. I live in India and belong to a tiny ethnic community (Anglo Indians) that is a result of European colonization. So we grew up mostly on country music. I just love what country music does to your soul, thanks to which I also sing and play some myself. So looking forward to this year's CMA Christmas show on TH-cam. (Sadly, it's the only medium that connects me with all you awesome ladies and gents). Love y'all!
Have shred Forever Country were ever I've been able to. Thanks to all the pioneer veterans and the new members of the Country Music industry for producing this awesome tune. So very sorry John Denver was not here for this moment
When I first watched the music video years ago I was like where is Dolly! Then hearing her at the end almost broke me. Love seeing Travis too. Represents figures from my whole life amazingly.
I'm going for the record in saying this No Question John Denver should and DESERVES To Be in the Country Music Hall of Fame!!!!! what Sinatra meant to Jazz and The Beatles to Rock n Roll No Doubt John Denver meant a lot to Country Music no question
I went to school with Shane McAnally 7th-9th grade at Stephen F Austin Jr High & MWHS in Mineral Wells from '87-'90! He was always musically inclined. I really loved Charley Pride in this.
I think that really didn't have leave egos at the door. Because it turns out so well. Because everybody respects everybody. So that it is why this video works well.
I'm not sure if Randy was able to sing at that time but if he could it would have been awesome for them to have it set up and it's an area where he could end it off
For me, it’s missing Loretta Lynn, she’s the queen of country music. I would have also liked to see Shania Twain in it, the queen of pop/rock/country music.
So did it not dawn on these so called country artist today and the higher ups of CMA that the reason these songs are so well known and will be forever is because they were true country songs and written to last a long time.
Kathy Yates, Randy Travis can still speak it is just very difficult for him and singing is even more difficult because he did suffer a life threatening stroke in 2013.
wow take me home country roads, like 52 yrs ago! that song is going to always going to be remembered!
Thank you for including Randy Travis's appearance! ❤️
The finished product is truly a masterpiece that should be preserved for all time.
What a time to be alive! ❤️❤️
the 70's- 80's was much better.
Passing Bye I wouldn't know as I wasn't alive then.
listen to it back then. they didn't have bro-country then. Kenny Rogers, Alan Jackson and Tanya Tucker were my favorite.
Passing Bye not all bro country is bad.

That was Dolly's song, so of course she would do the finale.
@4dyamondx745 and, in my opinion, the most influential of all those talents.
Fantastic Job 🎼🎸

I'm from Wv love it.💖
The ending was perfect with Dolly ❤

Was nice that they included his appearance although he couldn't sing
Trisha Yearwood, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Dolly Parton 😍😍

I LOVE SHANE MCANNALY!
Bad ass
Keith urban agreed after he came down off the 8 ball..😅
Why didn't Randy Travis sing? Saw him on the video.
Kathy Yates since his stroke he isn't able to speak or sing I believe.
I had no idea...so sorry to hear that. Well it was good that they had him in the video. Prayers to RandyTravis.

Thank you Dr. Unusual.
Charlie Pride top guy
What happened to Kenny Cheney and Garth Brooks and Uncle Kracker and Eli Young Band
Loretta Lynn was not included :[
The video was filmed while she was recovering from a stroke. I missed her, too.
It would have been complete with George Jones there and Randy being able to sing
6:29
2 words: SHANIA TWAIN...
Jonathan Cineus She was having vocal issues at the time this was made
Where is George Strait?
George Strait is in the video
no hank? wtf
Долли Партон уже старая силиконовая бабка, зачем ее к молодым лепить???
It’s missing Loretta Lynn, Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, and Shania Twain. I’m very disappointed. 😔
Perfect is not the enemy of the very good.
And Kenny Rogers!
And The Judds!!
Dolly was , is , and always will be a class act...
