I am super excited for the Vidar. I kind of agree with your take on it not being grand enough, but to me a "grand" release is when they release a line Gundams from the same show in closer intervals. I think of the MG seed line, EW line, 00 line etc. Even if you don't like the shows there will probably be atleast one release that stands out to a gunpla builder. I much prefer this release over getting the 5th remake of a UC Gundam.
I just really wish they just released the MG Vidar earlier. They could pump it all out if they wanted too, since the inner frame of the MG Barbatos is still solid on my copy.
@@Shalickx I mostly collect MG and RGs, so I don't have an experience with the Full Mechanics line. But based on my friends and some reviewers, it does loosen up over time. But with Vidar's release, there is hope that other Gundams would have their MG counterpart in the near future. Hopefully earlier. The MG IBO line is one of the easiest in my opinion for Bandai to release. Since they already have a solid foundation. Just a little bit of altering with the armor parts and boom, a new Gundam kit.
@@Shalickx Honestly I am kinda excited for Vidar (I even ordered it). I definitely don't think it's a grand announcement, but hey, it's a decent start to revive the MG line. Hopefully we do get something "grand" down the line.
IBO anime issues aside, the suits are generally adored. the MG Barbatos is also a very loved/popular MG so makes sense people are hyped we're getting another one in this MG drought.
Dude take a step away and look at the community’s response. “I don’t think it’s a grand announcement” meanwhile over half the community is crying tears of joy because of it.
Oh don't get me wrong haha I am pretty excited for it. Just because I say it isn't grand, that doesn't mean I'm not happy about it. While I don't think it's a grand announcement, I do think it's a good start for MG's continuation and hopefully we get "grander" things down the road.
@@NicholsToys Well you also said it was lazy... I understand that some annoucements can be less hyping, but calling those alldgedly lackluster annoucements lazy is harsh, and I know, you were just exaggerating to make a point. But still.

As a fan of MGs, I'm just thankful Bandai hasn't forgotten about the MG line. A lot of people were saying Bandai had given up on standard MGs and would only make new VerKa and MGEX kits. I haven't watched IBO, but I love my MG Barbatos. This new kit isn't a day one buy for me, but it's on my wishlist.
Maybr the reason why Bandai decided to release MG Vidar is because there's no real "villain mech" to fight against MG Barbatos, and Bandai just don't want to make MG Kimaris for some reason 🤷♂️
And that's also the reason there needs to be an Origin Char Zaku II. That manga has so many amazing redesigns that it's a shame the only MG it has is the granddaddy.
I wish Bandai can finally release a RG ZZ gundam so i can pair it with the HG Psycho gundam mk2...and if bandai is listening...please release a RG Zaku 3...please.....pretty pleaseeeeeee
IMO, Bandai would not design 2 variants of Volantes, redesign cost money and producing another molds for plastic also cost a ton of money. It'll be cross compatible. Ps. the Infinite Justice and IJ spec II have the same backpack connections.
First season was good. 2nd season was messed up because the writer got a serious fangirl crush on Gaelio's voice actor. She ended up rewriting season 2 just to keep him around so we got that steaming pile of crap.
@@NicholsToys and it's literally a thematic reason that they're all the same Bandai went out of their way to improve the frame instead of just releasing the exact same thing and ur still complaining lol
You are gonna be more mad knowing that IBO spin off series is also the main anime for next year regarding Gundam.
I'm okay with that, since there's a chance the spin-off could fix what the original IBO ruined for me.
I dont understand what everyone hated about ibo
I used to dislike the IBO ending. But after WFM's shite ending, I now love IBO lol
The downfall of writing in Season 2 of IBO probably and WfM never watched it because i might hate my Gunpla from it 😅
I haven't watched it yet, but I can't imagine it being worse than Seed Destiny. And neither Seed or 00 are amazing either.
