    I use just 2 drops of the Ordinary 10% lactic acid every day or two with my CE %F & the Ordinary reservatrol and ferulic acid.

    Peach and Lilly lactic acid is the best one I ever tried , I use to think it was S.R but I am sensitive to the essential oil they use but P.L has the best ingredients and gives the results too.

    Perfect timing on your video. I am looking for a gentle exfoliate. Since using tretinoin since last March, I am unable to use two of my favorite exfoliants which did not have salicylic acid in them. About the only exfoliant that seems to be ok once a week is a gentle exfoliating cleanser. Maybe other tretinoin users are having the same issue.

    Thankyou for your videos. I find them very informative. I have used Ordinary products only for a whole year. Lactic acid, niacidamide and amino acids + B5 are the only ones I am taking into 2023. They are all the products that are good for my skin😊

    I used to pair my Lactix Acid 10% with the 100% organic sea buckhorn fruit oil at night time. Let me tell you, that’s a power couple. My skin was very bright and soft the next day.
    The only reason why I stop is because the stain from the sea bucket. I miss it so much that I think I’ll not care anymore if it’s stain. Cause is easy removal when I do laundry.

    Hey Miss Ash
    Since I use you as my skincare genie (and sistah Torontonian) I do have cpl questions on exfoliation.
    I have the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate (excessive I know), and the Caudalie Masque Instant Detox. I also have 10% The Ordinary lactic acid.
    I’ve started using .025% prescription Tretinoin again pretty religiously twice a week for a few months now. I did stop for a long time because it was so drying and I actually hated the way my skin was looking.
    I then restarted using it but ONLY on my cheeks, orbital bone, forehead, bottom chin and neck. I do see a difference and loving it.
    Now.. I thought another drying substance would definitely put me back again.
    My question is.. do you still recommend lactic acid twice a week when I’m exfoliating with those 2 brands 2-4 times/weekly? I see significant results with them. Truly!
    Do they give the same results as lactic acid?

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YES! I love it so so much... No, I use Lactic Acid (DRMTLGY LA Refining Serum) when I am not using Tretinoin. I worry that the pairing would be too harsh if used together.

    1) azealic acid+ alpha arbutin
    2) vitc 23% suspension + alpha arbutin
    3)azealic acid + pycnogenol
    4) vitc 23% suspension + pycnogenol
    Could you please confirm if these 4 combinations would be ok and can I add vitamin c to any of the above 4

    • @yukiaditya7352
      @yukiaditya7352 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From my experience already using all of them in combination with other things… 1 is ok, 2 is ok, 3 pycnogenol is so much better to be used along with vit. C…which also answer no. 4. Good luck. Their vit C 23% is a potent and has high chance to irritate, just use it thin, on the very first step after you clean your face, then pycnogenol, and seal it with moisturizer and sunscreen. Use Azelaic Acid or EUK on the day you are not using vitamin C. Azelaic acid is ok to be used twice a day, EUK better during the day.

    I would be grateful if u could reply I'm a new person to skin care have bought many products just not sure the correct order to apply it,I have acne dark spots and pigmentation
    I have
    Pycnogenol- ordinary
    Alpha arbutin-minimalist
    Salicylic acid- minimalist
    Caffeine solution ecgc-ordinary
    Ordinary squalene cleanser
    Ordinary moisturizer
    Minimalist pha
    Minimalist salicylic acid cleanser
    Minimalist sunscreen
    I had ordered most of them after getting to know about these products from your videos you are doing an amazing job

    • @LoveToday8
      @LoveToday8 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. Cleanser (use the salicylic acid one no more than 3x a week, you can use the squalane on the other days)
      2. Toner (optional)
      3. Serum and/ or treatment so that'd be your alpha arbutin
      4. Moisturizer
      5. SPF in the day
      With treatments like alpha arbutin, only 2-3x a week, I wouldn't use it in the same sequence of the salicylic acid.

    Would the 5% lactic acid be good for gentle for sensitive skin and would it help exfoliate dry skin

    • @LoveToday8
      @LoveToday8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Lactic acid tends to be better for sensitive skin but if you find it's too much, she mentioned mandelic acid. Start out with once a week and work your way up to twice after like two weeks.

      Hey there!
      I would say the DRMTLGY is my fave. I love the way my skin looks and feels with it but they are ALL amazing so it just depends on your preference when it comes to ingredients and of course brand/price point
