Hey Noah, Thanks for the cool vid as always. One thing I would also recommend is to use UVI Shade and insert two instances of Comb/Flanger Tilt EQ. Set one on the left and the other on the right channel, then set the frequency at the same value. Adjust the gain to +3dB on the left side and -3dB on the right side. Finally, adjust the mix knob to bring the original sound back. In this way, you are accentuating odd/even harmonics on the left/right channel. You can add an MS process afterward to adjust the width even further. Plus, you can modulate the gain for a more natural sound. A big advantage of this technique is that you are not messing with the phase!
The only foolproof way i've found to upmix mono files is the more laborious method of double tracking, time stretching one track down (with "preserve pitch" turned off) and cutting/realigning the files. It sounds wide and good 99% of the time. Adding a teeny tiny bit of very short reverb to the pitched signal can add a bit of extra smudge too, just to help differentiate the signals better and improve phase. Works on sustained sounds and transient sounds, though it's easier with sustained sounds as you don't tend to need to worry about the cutting/realigning part. All these plugins don't sound stereo enough without noticeable artifacts.

Woah now that’s an inspired approach, I’ll have to give that a go. Thanks for the recommendation!
@@noahsitrin9823 cool😄If It sounds weird, Insert Recenter to reduce the panning movement💌
