Are Royal Caribbean Cruise Staterooms near Elevator too noisy?!! (turn on audio to verify with me)

We have heard many stories that the worst staterooms on a cruise are those near the elevator/lift as it can be very noisy.
However based on our experience of staying in stateroom 12564 and 12566 which are just around the corner from the elevators on Royal Caribbean Spectrum of the Seas, we have no noise issues at all.
In fact we enjoyed the fact that we can reach our staterooms the moment we got off the elevator

please don’t go on a cruise if your idea of sanctuary involves quiet times. Royal Caribbean is notorious for being nonstop noise
