Hello, i love those pics a few faces from the past and some are still there today! I myself worked on the markets from beginning of 95 til 2004ish. I worked on the fruit and veg part. Ive been looking for photos of the old (iconic) markets for weeks and not been able to get more than 30 of them. Its so hard finding pics. The good old days.
Hiya, i know a guy nicknamed headache, unsure of his name. I myself worked on the markets from late 84 early 85 until about 2006 maybe 2007. I worked for steven johnson and ada hines. In the 90/s i worked for peter and brian state next to ellis and golding. They were great days! Miss the old markets, the banter has gone conpared to how it was. Especially riding those pallets down the hills! Lol

Thanks for posting this. Just how I remember it in the 90s. I hardly bother with Birmingham now, it's changed too much.
