Great job, as usual. I don't have swivel seats in my own van, and am now envious. But the foot height issue makes me think you should raise the floor, behind these front seats. This is an opportunity to make some more storage - either hidden storage for valuables, or an area, say, for food can storage or a water tank etc. )That's better than having overhead storage, as it keeps the weight low. ) I guess the solution is also tied in to the height of the side door exit. I remember that you sorted out the side door exit foot well for a lady before - adding some removable steps - was that for Sally? Worth some thinking, anyway.
Hi. Thanks. Yeah a couple of people have suggested building a foot rest that can be storage. But like you say, it'll eat into the entrance way. Plus I feel with the limited floor space it'll make it seem smaller. Still not sure. But thank you for the comment 😁
I would probably be OK with the shortening the passenger seat with your welding modifications, but I don’t know if it would be a safety issue if you modify the driver seat for injury in legal purposes.😮 But beings you’re both are taller gentleman, and like your seat lower, I would definitely lower them both😊
Hi. Thanks for the comment. Funnily enough I've been to visit my welder guy today. He's confident he can cut them down and make a solid weld of it. He also plans to add reinforcement so they will end up stronger than they originally were. So very happy with that👍👍😁

I would build a small platform with a swing lid, then you can have additional storage for shoes or something.
Also do you need to put some greese on the swivel to make it a bit easier to rotate? great little update video :D

Hello i think I’m going to lower the seat based on my sprinter. You can buy them lowered by 70mm, not cheap though. All the best to you all. 👍🚐😎
