No.82 Trains Around Werrington Junction End of October 2022

We start off with the 'new order' of the twice daily LNER Azuma on the Doncaster-Peterborough-Doncaster route learning trip documenting its micro voyage from Foxcovert Road through Glinton Junction, Lincoln Road, Cock Lane and Marholm Junction. Then we end with the 'old order' of double headed class 37's, 37521 and 37688 on a private Euston to Keighley and Worth Valley Railway charter. In between there are plenty of freight and passenger services on the East Coast Main Line and the Joint Line,

Great video as always. I see all the ECML stuff was diverted via the joint today due to engineering works.

Thank you Ben. I videoed a bit on Sunday of the work being done, I'll upload that on Monday. I was out all day Saturday so I didn't manage to get the bulk of the trackwork being done. There are/was planned divertions on the 12/13th and 19/20th of November to do S&C work at Werrington Junction, not sure if that work was brought forward to the weekend just gone or if it is still active for those dates. There were a lot of holes being dug and cable being passed through from what I could see.

When I was making the video I thought it looked like you driving as you were going down the dive under, that was Friday 28th. The other clip was at Foxcovert Road on Tuesday 25th, you did wave.😀 Thanks for watching again.

@@werringtonjunction Yes I was on it Mon-Fri, working L45 out and E25 back. On Friday when I went through the dive under I wondered why there were lots of people out filming, I realised later that the pair of 37’s were due behind me.

@@S2RUF The 37's were 40 minutes late, about 5pm at Werrington, so I had time to go home get a drink and a bite to eat before going out again.
