  • All from Cock Lane this time, starting with A4 Sir Nigel Gresley, lots of freight with class 66's, a class 60 and the fairly rare occurance of a class 70. Hitachi Azuma's, Hull Trains and Lumo plus Grand Centrals Avanti.

Great action sir. Very rare to see a Colas Rail 70 on the ECML and good to catch DC Rail 60 on 6Z84. 4:13 I caught 5Q50 at Stratford (London) and i think is quite rare to see Grand Central 180 going to Ilford E.U.M.D.

Thank you for watching and commenting Arnold. Grand Central's 180's have been going to Ilford for awhile now, as far as I know Alstom are still responsible for the maintenance and servicing.

Bit of congestion midway through your video - did you find out what was amiss?

There was no obvious sign of anything wrong John although there was no movement on the bi-directional Up Slow for around an hour as the DMU's off The Joint Line were using the dive under. No congestion at Peterborough Station either so it was perhaps a short term track or signalling failure maybe at New England Junction put right by personel on the ground hence the slowness of the Up Fast as well as the freight trains being unable to enter the New England yards for awhile.
