Its called buffering, its quite common on tourers/baggers that have a fixed screen.
I reckon the spoiler on the back may be stabilising the helmet and stopping the shake.
I get it with mine, i went 3 inches higher in the screen which made a difference.
You've figured that all out already, interesting to see how the 3d spoiler goes.
I think a AGV K1 helmet would help. Has a spoiler vent design in the back.

Yeah nice job on the buffeting issue.
I was having the same problem with my helmet, tried your suggestion of putting my hand behind the helmet and it solved the problem. Thanks, just have to a way to but some thing on the helmet.

That’s called head buffering, you need a fairing with a curved lip on it issue gone. 👍👍👍
It's also gone with this little attachment, and I get to keep the screen I really want. ;)
