Then we had Murdoch tarnish it with his Super League concept. I hope people seeing this advertisement where Balmain Tigers, North Sydney Bears and Western Suburbs Magpies births a new competition where the historical clubs are revived once more.

Tina Turner said in an interview that when she saw the boys gearing up for a match and realised that they did not wear any shoulder pads, no helmets, in fact none of the body armour the gridiron jocks wear she though to herself "This is a MAN's game." This was rammed home to her when she watched her first match.
