Voyagers Omni v3 Assembly Time Lapse

I've received the 3rd revision of the Omni PCB and thought I'd record and share a time lapse video of building it. Tomorrow I start testing the board and seeing if there are any issues. These electronics will be part of the new screen-accurate fully functional Omni to be produced by Rob of ReplicaProps.

Technically I only decided to make v2 in 2016. I made v1 in 2003 and discontinued making them after a few hundred were sold.

I got involved with Rob contributing electronics to the Handlink in 2017 and that project took longer than expected, but this v3 Omni PCB is, as far as I'm concerned, the production PCB. We're months away, not years.

Got idea 💡 copyrighted .... Instead of just cool prop toy ...i wanna make a usable cell phone Omni ... Take smart phone watch ⌚ guts put in metal body ... Red/green light are for notifications and tv show intro would be ringtone .... Talking to Chinese smart phone watch manufacturer ... Now ... Whom also happens to be fan of show 😅 .... Brass n copper probably yo expensive but base metal ... Aka pot metal. ..... I need a body i can copy in cast .... Ill build my own then ....
