Hi there. had a trip behind 58023 yesterday at svr. she is very quiet in comparison to the hydraulics, 37,50s and 20s. Talking to the ukrf lads they really proud of her and starting to work on 58048 next. caroline

Beautiful shot to start, the deer running across and the 52 erupting.
Wow, that 58 makes some clag evev on gentle starts
paint that hst in to choclate and cream.
As smoky as a steam engine though. caroline
clagging like that 58 is what gives diesels a bad reputation, they didnt do that when i saw them pulling mgr trains in the 80s and 90s.
