“There are four keys, one is in this deck, two are in this deck, & 3 are in this deck...” (Eye twitches.) 😅😂👍 Thank you guys for recording this, it helped a lot in our first playthrough..! 👍
I’d like to contribute to the conversation by stating that whenever I see the white stitching on Tom’s shirt I think it’s a grey nose hair that’s fallen on my iPad.
On AEG's website it says they're hoping to get everything wrapped up for their latest post-kickstarter campaign stuff (from Edge of Darkness) soon, and then they'll be making an announcement about Thunderstone Quest in early April. One would assume that that announcement will be regarding its retail availability. www.alderacsite.com/thunderstone/
AT around the 44 minute mark, Tom goes to the temple, heals a wound, uses his healing gem to heal the other wound and then instead of just buying a card he moves to the market. Did I miss what he did that allowed him to move to the market?
1 year late, actully he placed is mini on guildQuarter, then changed his mine and went the market. You can always heal one wound even if you dont go to the temple. You can always buy 1 card also. Going to the market in epic mode is to just put out an extra any card.
I really love the content you guys put out, and this looks like a great game. Thanks for the awesome content as it's starting to feel like the closest I'm getting to this game. AEG's basically pocketed my kickstarter funds claiming the package was delivered (I don't have it) and stopped responding to me. And I'm not buying it a second time. if this is how they're going to treat me.. Keep putting out the great reviews and information guys
So basically you're just playing a game all on your own, and there's someone else at your table doing the same thing? Is that the whole point of Thunderstone Quest?
@@nerzenjaeger it might feel like its the whole point when you dont like solo ish games. some people want to feel like there in the same world and thunderstone goes out of it way to effect each other very little. For example everyone can go on any space together. everyone can fight the guardian. The only interaction (except the once in a while hero that might) is taking cards away from you opponents.
There is little player interaction but man, if that's a deal breaker you're missing out on a ton of great games, like most all deck builders for instance (ticking down their HP tracker is hardly meaningful interaction). It's still incredibly competitive - way more so than lots of games that shoehorn in horrible "take that" elements so it can check off the "player interaction" box. You're building a deck with the same opportunities and options as them, and competing side by side to be the more effective player. Complete with enough luck to be dynamic but enough ways to mitigate luck to be strategic.

for anyone wondering: contest ended with the stream, so don't feel like you need to watch 20 minutes to find that out.
Can you buy more than just one item in the Bazaar? Around 21:25 Tom purchases two items, I was under the impression you could only buy one.
Answered at 35:40 - you can only purchase one.
Book says you can buy one card
Game is coming back to kickstarter soon
1:45:17 I really like this. Not sure why. Good game, guys!
does anyone know when this game will be available for non kickstarters?

When is our thunderstone quest review?
It would Be nice if they got rid of that small screen in the bottom right corner . I’d much rather see the game then look tom and Sam no offense!
I didn't mean to miss the live play but was working when they played this morning.
Dont forget to equip the the weapon to a person that can weald it or you don't get the hit points from the weapon
What is the Twitch channel name?
thedicetower
Thanks! I always forget to try it with the "the"
Opens with whistling of Muppet theme song. I'm sold!
When you use the healing stone it goes away

Where is the download link?
The black thunderstone shard is worth 10 XP, not 5 XP. It's says in the contains page at the beginning :)
Booklet says 5
Cheers from the peanut gallery!

You have a very reductionist view of games. You must be fun to play with.
@@nerzenjaeger He is correct though for the most part there is very little player interaction.
@@rebeccawhite6922 Sure, but that's not "the whole point of Thundestone Quest"

wow this game is surprisingly fun
This game seems less fun than Clank or Xenoshyft.
Not less fun, just a bit more complex.
