Hi. Love your items! An idea for the grid wall, you can make like foam squares or panels to attach to the grid walls. Can print out a layout, like the people that use it for comic con keychains or things to display on them. Just an idea. Love seeing how inspiring you are. I don't crochet, but love seeing all crochet artists vlogs for market ideas for my future. And to see all the cute items you guys make. ❤
The family telling their son the snap snakes were "too girly" but then offered to buy him a different one was just not cool. I'm sorry some people suck. I was there at the end of June and they had a whole bunch of vendors set up that weekend. I was all excited, and then bummed that I may have missed you, and then slightly relieved because I realize I probably didn't miss you. 🤣 (I hope not.) That's great that you did so well though!
so sad you missed the second day. yeah inventory has to be huge when you go to big events. Kudos on the sales. I love the snap bracelets. Fun! SHame on the parents who said that to their little boy. I bought 5 grids and never use them. Too difficult to set up alone. I do set up with tabletop shelving that I got creative with. I will send you a photo. I have been binge watching your videos today and I want to say thank you for going over Square, I believe was in your prep video for this market. I have been on the fence on getting one or not and you answered my inventory question about it so I went ahead and ordered it today!!!! So excited to get it all set up and use the inventory mgt features. I do not have any display pics as I have not completed my first market yet. It is 44 days out
You always seem to have soo many unique items that sets you apart from other crochet vendors!! You have the basics, leggie frogs, chickens, mallards etc but you also keep introducing new unique items, Snap snakes, beer mugs, pencil just to name a few. They are all AMAZING, I personally think that is one of the reasons you do so well. Everyone seems to have the cats but so few have DOGS! coming from a dog mom/grandma THANK YOU for carrying dogs lol OMG YES definitely learned to update the card reader BEFORE even getting to the event. I had my walls up trying to set up kinda in private lol since it was a 4 day event and I had people just moving the tent doors aside and coming right on in and started going through my boxes. Although annoyed I would have definitely sold to her but my card reader needed to update because I hadn't even turned it on before the event. Definitely think you should wear the snap snake, Personally I'd wear it further up my arm and possible do in a multicolored yarn not in solid colors?? please explain this to me: if you've restocked your yarn and supplies from profits made from a previous market WHY do so many subtract material costs from their profits? In my eyes this isn't accurate because you've already made that money from previous sales. You don't continue to add in the cost of tables etc because they were purchased and the money has already been made back. I'm seriously not being rude, please explain the logic in this to me. I get if you want to said I used approximately X dollar amount in materials however I'm not subtracting it because It was profits from a previous market that were used to restock supplies. Is my thinking wrong? Because after each weekend sale I have I place an order for new ribbon prints and I don't subtract this from my profits because I literally just made that from previous sales. It would be different if I didn't cover my expenses and had to pull money out of my personal account to purchase business supplies.
Thank you for this comment! I only subtract material costs from the specific items that sold and how much it costs to make them so I can get more of a true profit. For example I can say I made all this money in sales but if I spent half of that money to make the items thats important to calculate in order to get an accurate number of how much I actually made if that makes sense. In a video I did a while back about configuring profit margins it was really helpful to see my material costs per item to see specifically what costs the most to make and what’s giving me the best profit margins.

Wow wahat a beautiful setting to have a market booth!! So happy you did well. I find the grid walls are very cumbersome, too. But what does do well for me on them is my hanging crochet plants and Yip Yip Baskets. I think the items hanging and moving brings the attention to the gridwalls and the bright basket colors. But, they are a hassel and heavy!

It makes me so sad, one market there was like a 10yr old boy and he wanted a purple Dino I had and his mom kept telling him he had to pick a “boy” color or he couldn’t get anything at all he did pick out another item but he really wanted the purple dino

It looked a little blend, if I'm making sense. It could also be because of the fall items. Mix the fall stuff with other items. Just my thoughts.
Hii! Thank you so much for watching!! I just use my iPhone😅 I bought some extra iCloud storage so I have a lot of space for video and I use premiere pro to edit but there’s free editing softwares out there if you’re just getting started!
Thank you so much! It definitely depends on the event/event organizer. This event organizer was great. She only allows one crocheter there for their regular weekends which I appreciate. When organizers don’t screen the vendors, there does tend to be a lot of other crocheters there which does sometimes affect sales.

I never leave a fair because I think I don't have enough. You have more product for your second day than I did and you never know what people want or are ooking for. You could have sold out. Just make your setup smaller and more compact for the second day and it will look like you have more. Just my opinion. Also if you use solid wood shelves on the gridwall instead of the mesh it is more seen.
If the drive wasn’t as far I definitely would’ve went the second day but I was exhausteddd from the travel so it ended up being the best decision for me. But thank you for this feedback and thanks for watching!

Put a solid color cloth/fabric behind the gridwalls. My mentor taught me that people look THROUGH them if they don't have a solid back.
