  • We recorded the first installment of the "Basketball Technique" in this stand 5 years ago. It hasn't been actively managed since then and habitat quality is declining rapidly. In this video, Dr. Bronson Strickland and Dr. Marcus Lashley of UF DEER Lab break down disturbance regimes for deer forage and cover.

MSU deer lab, I love all the content. I have been able to learn a lot from your video’s but I have a question for you…
I live in Northwest Ohio, I want to learn more about deer biology, habitat improvement, managing for food quality, ect. Where do I go to find more information about these topics in my area?
If you have any resources to answer my questions that would be wonderful! Keep the great content coming!

Great advice. I hunt on timber company land. I'm going to set it on fire this weekend! Wish me luck!
Just kidding. I don't think they would appreciate that. That's the bad thing about leasing from timber company land. You are at there mercy on when we get cut.
