Thanks! Though, there have been a few others to do this before me. @n45a_ made one not to long ago. I Highly recommend checking out his design as well. Link in description.
very cool project, it would be very cool if you could queue up all the moves you want to do at once and then just click a button to watch it slowly solve the whole thing
I always wanted to make this. I wanted to start a TH-cam channel and wanted my first video to the minecraft rubik’s. I tried and got stuck when I realized that 2 different feed tapes can’t be put in a single layer I even tried with command block but I ran into more problems my 16 year old brain couldn’t find a way and gave up. The way you solved the problem is very impressive and made it look very simple bravo 👏 👏👏
Good job! I tried to do this a couple years ago, after a bunch of fiddling I gave up though, because fitting rotating a face and the rotating other faces in the same space was too hard.
this is so cool , im definently buidling one of these, but with built in wiring to preform the three different turns a face can make, so i dont have to click a button so many times
Now you just need to build a reset/solver. A memory cell could record all moves performed and when you press the reset/solve button it reads the memory and reverses all moved done and then wiping the memory to start recording anew.
You should look up "impossible feed tape" which was popularized by mumbo jumbo in one of his "i build your redstone ideas" video. And then solved by maizuma. Which is now how most people does gapless feedtapes. Crafty also made a tutorial for it. But i think ita better to watch maizuma's video since he makes a deeper explanation
Hi CaptainLuma, I am from Philippines, I would like to say that I'm making Rubik's Cube In Bedrock edition and I use your redstone ideas for my video and I'm gonna upload it on my TH-cam channel, Can I?
Yo ! I think you're the first one managing to make a rubik's cube using feedtapes ! Also it's always nice to find speedcubers on youtube.
True always got the whole speedcubing community

It felt like I was making my cube all over again. GJ

Good job!

Yay, a fellow cuber in minecraft! Really enjoyed watching this video, keep 'em coming. :)
Ive attempted this and, oh god, it is not easy
Pd: 3blinder here, i love cubes :p

Nice machine and video! 👍
Minecraft Rubik's cube speedrun starts now!
next challenge: do it all from inside the cube

Thanks! I will look into it.
oh this is so cool
Great video!
you got me wondering what a rubiks cube could look like with the create mod, where rotation is actually possible
u can increase the tick rate if it takes too long
Impressive! Don't the controls get confusing once the cube is scrambled, though? (Because white is only the top layer in the solved state etc.)
No, the faces doesn't change since the center block remains the same whatever the state of the cube is
Ah right, of course - thx!
@@manu_faktur no problems 🙂
next time 5x5x5 😎🔥
Now make it 0 tick so you can speed solve it
Btw what is your pb?
Steller video!
Doing PLL on this must be a nightmare
whats your 3x3 pb? (real life and minecraft :) )
10.60s IRL.
About 19 minutes in Minecraft 💀
MelonBP did this a few years ago, except he was able to get all the redstone inside the cube. I can't seem to find any links to it anymore though
should i made this on bedrock (random question but what is ur rs3m setup)
Go for it! Honestly my rs3m setup is really bad lol. It's falling apart and I haven't calibrated it in like ages.
0:09 life is roblox

Yes of course you can!
@captainluma7991 Thank You
@mattbatwings now build a computer that can solve it
already working on it!
There's one issue. You can't move the block on each center. But doing this may not make the project possible
Pretty simple actually it's just like rotating the sides
9:57 no way you messed up the t perm
Can't use muscle memory in minecraft lol
@vVearon true but it's still kind of a meme
This is going too far lol
