Thx for the great vid! I replaced the DRL bulb with an LED, but just like you, it fell into the housing when I was trying to install it. To anyone reading this: mash that freaking bulb into its socket until you hear a teeny tiny click and then it shouldn't fall out. Also, removing the bulb holder on the drivers side is counter-clockwise to free it, and clockwise to lock it in. However, on the passenger side it's the opposite: clockwise to release and counter-clockwise to secure. One other tip if you have to take the whole housing out (which I found MUCH easier since my hands are larger than a 10 year-old): use a small 90-degree pick to undo that fat electrical connector from the back of the housing. I couldn't get it to budge and ended up snapping off the release button on one side. Using a pick on the release latch allowed me to grab the back side of the connector and wiggle it off. Especially with older cars where these connectors haven't been separated since they were installed in the factory, I've now learned that using a pick first is the way to go.

Thanks for the video! I’ve tried many times, but still have no idea to how to switch on the connector. Wish I could hear that click sound.
