Robin Trower is often credited as guitarist on the song Whiter Ahade of Pale but there was controversy because Procol Harem used studio musicians on that original studio recording NY idea who the guitar actually was if not Trower.

Robin Trower joined Procol Harum after Procol Harum recorded Whiter Shade Of Pale. Ray Royer was the band's guitarist Whiter Shade Of Pale was recorded. The band's drummer Bobby Harrison was replaced for that song by session drummer Bill Eyden.
