Hello you,
my name is Frank and this is my two day journey on how I filmed a commercial at home without actually filming a single second. And of course the behind the scenes with scene by scene breakdown.
Disclaimer: The bakery is real, but I am not sponsored by them in any way (yet), I just like filming these types of short movies/ads. If you are from Thelins and you see this I hope you don't mind some free advertising.
Okey so chocolate balls don't actually go in the oven, I have just always wanted to film such a transition haha. They should go in the fridge and sit for a couple hours before served, at least that's how I like them.
Also, I apologize for the varying quality of the video, because I used my phone as a remote (important in stop motion) and my camera for the ad I mostly just had a canon s100 to film the behind the scenes with. Borrowed an iphone for a few shots, you can probably tell the difference..
But the important quality was the commercial, and I think it turned out pretty okey. If I had a food stylist that would have put glue on the balls so the garnish would stay put that would have been great. But I didn't. So yeah..
Okey I'm just ranting now. I hope you enjoyed this product videography video. Heyoo.

Hey thank you! :)
It's actually not paper, it's some kind of plastic sheet. Can't remember where I picked it up It was in some swedish store. Cost like 15 USD dollar. It's a bit too small but it's pretty amazin that it's plastic because you can easily clean stuff from it, water won't stick.

Found it. I bought them from here. So I guess the material is called PVC which is basically plastic.
