Flare can happen even at night. Or sometimes its just easier to leave it. Not sure which is the case here. Thanks for watching.

Looks like he's shooting with the 70-200 2.8, the glass on that lens is pretty much flush with the end of the lens unlike the 24-70 which has a little rim. The glass feels very exposed and I keep my hood on most the time especially since it's very long and easily knocked not to mention the $3k+ price tag.

I can't say I like the concept of using ISO >1600 on beauty shots and portraits even if camera can handle it. 4000 ISO is way too high, have to spend $6000 on a D5 to handle that ISO then. Better off using strobes/flashheads.

High ISO and low noise levels continue to be improved and filter down from the high end models like a D5 to lower priced cameras. This trend is opening doors to this lighting style to more and more photographers.

Of course that will improve over time, but we all know increasing ISO = reduction in dynamic range. On a 24-50 Mpix it might not be very apparent but still a lot of people not having that many MPixels yet, I only use 24 so.. I like this concept I just couldn't deliver images with that low signal to noise ratio. And.. I think I would need like 2 or 3 of these because I like lower contrast/more light, this would will end up costing a lot of money. In fact, there are many cheaper strobe kits :-/ In my country with import tax or regular tax it would cost about $1200-1500 USD for 2x ICE LIGHT v2, thats insane amount of money for 2 led lights on a stick.. Sorry for this "easy" description of probably a good product.. So no, this isn't opening many doors in our country.. People are not going to buy this over a strobe kit :-/

The term opening doors grinds my gears.... In all the years since your first ICE LIGHT there have been no sale of it in Norway as far as I know, am I right? You know this better than me... Import tax would make it insanely overpriced (25% added on top of US prices). I have seen ONE time there have been ONE person on "used market" selling this in 5 years, I know because I have a "robot" searching for used ones on our markets, of course I would love to try it for a lower cost. So basically, you don't have a single sale here in Norway, and you don't have a market for it right here, right? I don't see a lot of "openings" with this high price, import tax, etc... And adding to your injury, people believing they get same stuff in "Home Depot led-sticks".. I would love to try ICE LIGHT from our local Westcott dealer, but they don't have it and the cost in general is way too high. This is my 5 cents.. All I could afford in this hard time of photography :)

Oh scratch that, I double-check and found one place selling it... Cost over $100 more than in US, even less of a chance that people going to buy it. Sorry =)
