    Nice round! Respect for scoring hole 4 properly. I know you want to play without any help from strokes but you definitely should have taken at least 1 stroke per hole. Not only does it keep you fighting longer but more importantly it makes it more fun for your opponent. When you deny the strokes, it’s no longer a fun competitive round for them. It’s just leisure golf. They know they don’t have to try hard to win.

    A tip for traveling the course, when you are near the green don't leave your bag (or cart) in the spot where you chipped from. When you carry your putter up to the green, then walk back to the fairway where you left you clubs, you are holding up those behind you. Chip-move bag greenside-then select putter (and another club if not putting yet).
    A pet peeve of mine is people who park the cart next to the green then sit in it to fill out the scorecard. That also prevents the group behind from hitting until you leave. Fill it out on the next tee. Its just courtesy.

    One of the things you will learn moving forward is you need to find the swing/technique and shots that hold up under pressure for you, that give you the best probability of pulling off the shot. Progress is showing. @12:49 you don’t need to drop your putter on the ground every time you mark your ball. Similarly you shouldn’t drop your tee shot Club (ie driver) on the ground every time you tee the ball up. It isn’t necessarily an “etiquette” thing, but it makes you look silly and screams “IM A NEWBIE”. Which you are… just trying to help you not look like one :)

  • @wrennakken
    @wrennakken ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nice video Jerome enjoyed it will watch the back 9. She’s awesome and super nice. Learn from that. Glad you enjoyed yourself and had fun. Focus on your swing more while having a good time is the balance you need mentally. Your swing is very smooth when you don’t rush it. That’s the swing you want to have on repeat. Also that swing Vs your rushed one flies the ball a club shorter so club up and swing more fluidly and you’ll hit your targets more often. Short game is not good but hey you haven’t practiced that as much as you have the full shots so makes sense. Feel around greens and putting should be worked on more then full shots now that you have a baseline on the full shots that you can play golf with. Lastly when playing with females it’s always smart to be extra polite! Females tend to be better then us guys at this. Learn from that and be a gentleman. Not saying your trying to impress her or whatever but it’s a good thing for your life going forward. Your young. When she gives you a putt. Or takes the flag out for you. Or offers you a tip. Thank her for that act of kindness. No doubt your a good guy. Just show it in those instances when you can remember too. All the best man keep it up.

There's a reason for these things. I know it's hard to not go to course and just free swing but it will slow down your improvement if you don't follow his direction. Love to see you hitting driver when called for. Remember to get that reverse K in set up like Chris showed you. It will encourage upward swing path required with driver.

The advice I was given is to put an alignment stick or club on the floor where you want your feet to aim. You will be amazed how weird this feels, but it works

    You DID ask her for etiquette stuff, and she was too shy; but in match play, if a person has under a 2 foot putt, you should give it to them. They will ask, like she did, but it's expected for you to give it to them. It's all silly, and you can't know this shit and it annoyed me the way I had to learn it cause people treat it like a secret code until someone whispers on the Tbox one day "Yo, you're supposed to give those short putts to people lol".
    Also for fun; you should learn some golf lingo: Chirping; talking trash but in a golf way; often subtle, passive aggressive and can often at first be perceived as a compliment. 🤣🤣
