AK: I left my corporate job after experiencing mental and physical health issues, and we started our TH-cam channel to document our journey as new property investors in 2019 with no upfront capital. Lia: With nearly a decade of experience building my own entertainment channel on TH-cam from 0 to over 330k followers, the unpredictable nature of a content creator's monthly income took a toll on my mental health. Starting my property journey was my way of future-proofing my income and creating a stable, regular source of revenue. Ultimately, my goal is to build a secure financial foundation for our future family.

That is interesting you give them all minfridges. That is a good idea. With their own bath and a little fridge, they have a lot of privacy.

Lea and Ach, the house looks very nice. Here in the US an HMO is a Health Maintenance Organization, so I had to look up what HMO means in Britain. Now I understand. The best of luck with your endeavors.

I’m impressed with the property. It looks great. I’m someone who is afraid to do anything but put white on the walls with no texture. I love the boldness of the dark blue. I’ll show this to my wife.

HMOs in Britain are what Americans used to refer to as Rooming Houses; although this particular property is far superior to anywhere that would have fallen within that designation. Bathing facilities and a kitchen [if even available] would have been communal. Since all units were occupied within a week of their having been offered, they are obviously fulfilling an existing need. Kudos to Ach and Lia for recognizing that fact and, hopefully, well benefiting from it.

For the most part, it looks fabulous!! I really wish you had done the tour more slowly, though. The camera moved so fast, it was hard to take it all in. I'm not a fan of the chipboard, either, but that's just a personal preference. I suppose it's very on trend, eh? ;) On the whole, great job and congratulations on the completion of your project! ♥

You have excellent design sense. You managed to make those small rooms look cozy. I didn't hate the original kitchen, but the new design is much more classy. I can see young professionals renting a room, or someone looking for a part-time commuter residence.

Finally catching up after having moved across the US, corner to corner (OR ➡️ FL) and....you guys! It looks fantastic! I love the pop of color throughout the house, especially. I hope renting out is going well for you. Between this and having to move out of Chichester, the stress of it all, you guys took a leap of faith during a particularly unpredictable time in the world and its finally finished. Well done!
