What a trooper. How the hell you have the energy to get this edited and posted after yesterday I'll never know. You were legging it about saying hello to every car coming in. Those that arrived early you were saying hello as you saw us, and you were on your feet all day! Hats off to you and the Rustival crew for your hard work and effort.
I'm a total social hermit when it comes to stuff like this. And yesterday I was talking to loads of people and able to strike up conversations with people I've never met before such is the vibe you created. I cannot thank you enough for that!

And she so deserved it. From a hand painted university first job motor to shiny penny at a car show. We’ve both come so far.

It was such a great day and we loved bringing our little Austin along. The mix of cars was amazing and the owners so keen to tell anyone who asked all about their vehicles. We’re really happy for all of you that it went so well. You should be immensely proud of yourselves. Roll on next year!
Goodness me, well done on getting this video out so swiftly! Even as a spectator, I was exhausted after the whole day. Well done to yourself and the team for putting it together. It was fab!

An absolutely superb day. Lovely cars and lovely people. I spoke to some members of the museum staff who all said that it was a pleasure to work that shift. That is a reflection on the organisers. Well done all

I thoroughly enjoyed the show yesterday and I’m glad I went. It was lovely speaking to you Steph as it’s always a pleasure to speak to you. It was nice speaking with the legend that is Kev, mainly about MGCs which I’ve always loved.
All in all a very enjoyable day and I’m glad it all went very smoothly.
Hi Steph, it was lovely to meet you yesterday and have a chat to Kevin, please thank him for his input on my current project problem when you next see him. It was great to see Danny Hopkins as well, there are few people who have done more than Danny for the good of the classic car movement. Long before the internet, I relied heavily on Practical Classics magazine to fuel my passion for the old cars. The show was a credit to you all and I'm sure there will be more of them, I hope so anyway.
Unfortunately due to recovering from a cold I missed this one so many thanks Steph for sharing some of Rustival with us. Some great cars. It's great to encourage the younger generation into the hobby as well, we need them to keep it all going long after some of us are gone. Joseph really is an inspiration.

Never got chance to say Hello to you Steph , was busy taking pictures and talking ...and you were running round as well ....fantastic event and yes, it was THE GREATEST UK CAR SHOW EVER..i'm still buzzing
Of all the cars there....second best for me is the red Cavalier. Such a good car - folk don't often realise how good they were. But the green Alfasud Ti! How on earth has that survived? I had an R registered 1977 1200Ti 38 years ago and it was knackered even then. Mechanically good, the body was shot. It was common to find 6 year old ones in scrapyards back in the eighties. I had several Suds between 1986 and 1997 and I don't think I ever paid more than £350 for one. To my mind they were the best thing Alfa made.

Such a wide variety of cars on display and some interesting people too. You highlighted some very impressive project cars, and I wish the young man on dialysis all the best on his upcoming journey. That takes a lot of courage and it's good to see he has some friends assisting him along the way.

You have an idea and organise an event (you and some others) and then hope people will come. If you had any doubts I am so glad that they were dispelled and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I hope there were many young people there who are taking an interest because there is a school of thought that the young have no interest in old classics. Thanks for posting this video Steph and for all your hard work putting the event together. Oh and I must not forget Nancy and indeed all the great vehicles that made it. 👍👍

Had similar Ami in London in the 70s, great fun! Hope that the oil leak underneath your friend's car was there before he parked because the brake pipes used to leak on these.

That's a great video, loved meeting the owners.
Loved the silver Renault 10 (towards the end of the vid). I had the slightly earlier model with the round front lights but in the same colour. Great little car and Uber cool.
Loved the event a true inclusive venture long may it continue, just nice to have all interests together at a fabulous location. Also shout out for the stewards.
That model Vauxhall Victor FC is more than a hunk of metal to me for sure - as an 11/12 year old in the 1960s, I used to wash and wax the family car sometimes, so I remember every bump, handle, chrome strip and groove of it - the smell of Turtle Wax on a warm Summer's day still comes back to me...🙂
Gaydon's a great venue for a car show. Last May I when I was at Packington Estate for a Land Rover show, I visited the museum, and there was a small event going on; I think you really managed to fill up the whole lot with 1,000 cars.
What a great event and a great community you and the other TH-camrs have built up over the years. Wish I could have joined you.

Great video as usual Steph! I was really pleased you looked at the Singer. My fathers first car was a Singer LeMans coupe. He bought it for 20 quid way back in the 50's.

Really good concept, no snobbery, everything welcome. We turned up in our beloved old Volvo 850 in the main car park. Maybe if this is repeated, a little later in the year to favour better weather? One of my cars is a bit of a garage queen that only goes out on dry days (or ones that look like they're going to remain dry!)

What a fabulous show. Well done to all of you for organising and running this. Loved the Cavalier, Montego and Alfasud in particular. Going to have to get the day off for next year's show, and need to work out whether to get a Rover P6 or Triumph 2000/2.5Pi, or both. We need people like yourselves and all the enthusiasts to keep classic car interest going.

Great event, so well organised and a lovely vibe throughout the day. Don't think I've seen a negative comment anywhere which is so refreshing with such a mix of vehicles, of which not all can ever be to everybody's taste. Hope you find use for the Marina Haynes manual :) Look forward to next year (if I don't see you somewhere sooner!)

I love them, in 2006 I owned A234 UYU, a 1.6, gold with beige velour interior. I found out it was the second one off the production line from Longbridge. If you google the reg you can see photos of it. There’s a brown Mayfair in my town 😍. I live in a very famous town…. Leyland 🇬🇧💪🏼

I’m really hopeful for Joe. It’s a big undertaking when he is poorly.
The red Cavalier is lovely, but I was a bit distracted during the interview because that's my blue Mk1 Focus you're standing next to. The bloke in the Cavalier overtook me on the way there. Weirdly, there was an almost identical Mk1 Focus - same age and colour - behind me in the queue going in, but then he parked miles away from me.

Rustival car show is simply the best that I have seen on youtube and Steph you have really done a truely wonderful job in putting together is wonderful car show and I hope that it become's a yearly event and the great looking car's from old to near new love it .
