To answer your question. Noragami is GREAT, but it wasn't popular for a third season sadly. It's also (now) older so newer anime fans don't know it

Given and Noragami are both such underrated gems, it's so cool to see them on this list. Noragami has been around for quite a while now, and has banger music, so it's not as surprising, but man GIVEN TOO??? That was so unexpected, in the best way ever.

The opening of Demon Slayer Gurenge is the only one I never skip.
10:40 Noragami is such an underrated anime 😭 IT'S REALLY GOOD! It used to be very popular back then but nowadays literally nobody talks about it. It's been almost 10 years now and no season 3 and I don't think we're ever getting one...
The only thing it has in its favour is Japanese gods mythology.
Does it get better after ep 2? I can't get past ep 2, the show is so boring. It felt hours watching the first 2.

You can notice that luke was not a anime fan when S1 of Demon Slayer came out. The opening boke all kinds of barriers and records and was everywhere. the aniome was everythere and the nthe ep19 happened as well. There is less talk of the OP now because absolutely everyone has heard it. I wouldn't know how you measure the biggest anime at a given time but DS would be in the contention at least.

given that you like the Yoasobi Beastars OP, I really think you should also check out the ED... the one that goes with that specific opening is also done by Yoasobi, and I might actually prefer it to the OP depending on what day you ask me. also, Beastars is really good in general, I wish more people would recommend it.
also, yes, you checked out the Witch from Mercury openings and endings, but it's been a bit. shoutout to the second Witch from Mercury ED, that song still floors me.
10:45 Noragami isn't bad at all. It's just one of those anime(like 86, Monster, Tomodachi Game and Erased) which are under appreciated..
With all due respect, noragami doesn't deserve to be put together with masterpieces like monster, 86. Noragami has a trait all these anime have, it's that it's a slow paced anime but those other get better but noragami goes from a 5 to 6 with the last fight and s2 well... made it a 4

All of these are bangers but some of the placements are sus due to band or anime popularity.
Also for the longest time most JP songs weren’t licensed to foreign markets so only Spotify Japan users could play them…. this def affects on regency bias, newer popular shows have bigger chances to be with more streams.

Dont forget, longer video been out, more stream times and chances. Also you gotta put in songs and shows individually. So theres so many that are not on here that may have more streams. Not going to see them if not entered which means these are sort of biased, depending on creators knowledge of certain shows. Really any top videos going to be made this way no matter the platform. Also many of these songs or video were videos that are top songs from influencers as their best and many people probably visied to hear full versions not knowing any other songs or shows.

It doesn't matter that it says "on Spotify" because your video on the most streamed endings was also on Spotify (The reason why there was more endings after the JJK one was because they were movie credits songs, not really endings). Just note that 95% of the time, whenever a video mentions "most STREAMED songs" they're talking about Spotify. That's just the term used for "listening to music on Spotify". You should definetly do more of these! You're awesome as always! (For your information, EVERYONE watching this guessed that Gurenge was gonna be at the top because it's been number 1 for 5 years at this point...)
Recommendations for more numbers based lists I again recommend:
a list of most played songs on various platforms I reccomend.
Rinne Reactions: "Most viewed anime songs of all Time" and "Most listened anime openings of all time" (be sure to read the pinned comment on these videos)
also for an up to date list of most viewed songs on youtube I recommend the channel Shitou02.
I also remember seeing a list that fully included all the removed youtube videos but haven't been able to find it again so far.

Hello, I'm Japanese and your subscriber. I want to recommend a reaction to "Noragami", an anime that you should watch now, please watch it! I'm a big fan of Yuuki Kaji and Eren, Noragami is fun, interesting, cute, and you can see the wonderful acting of Levi and Eren's voice actors who form bonds while fighting, Attack on Titan is the best and one of a kind masterpiece, if you've finished watching Attack on Titan, I recommend "Noragami", there are things that can only be brought out by two voice actors with passion, acting ability and talent, it's a work that will stay in our hearts even though it only has two seasons, I strongly recommend the anime "Noragami".

there are so many awesome openings in the world... and in all the tops there are always the same openings from the same shonens. in fact, this problem can be expanded, there are so many cool but unknown anime in the world, but everyone discusses the same shounens endlessly

It's that even if the songs are good, they're like a double edged sword. Most of them depend on the taste of the listener so they're not so pleasing to everyone but all these songs on the top 50, even if generic, appeal more to the audience, regardless of the taste of the listener

Noragami isnt mentioned much because it was on a hiatus for over a year at one point and that was around the time it was in its second anime season so it was just...kinda on hold indefinitely.The manga finished earlier this year, the anime did a few odd choices and changes from the manga that werent too well received and the manga`s final chapter had a mixed reception due to it being admittably rushed.
Noragami is REALLY good,by all means,but despite its great animation,its better read than watched in my opinion.
As for your surprise to #1-I dont think you could even start to fathom just what kinda deathgrip Gurenge had on the anime community in 2019 lol

Your Name is the only anime movie ive seen with you on stream and it is absolutely my favorite anime movie as well, and I'm not even into those kinda movies.
My recommendations are for some more Naruto osts. When you did your reaction to the akatsuki group ost, all of the members of the group have their own osts and theyre amazing (there are tons of compilation vids and playlists for them). Also, the combination vid of 2 naruto osts: "hyouhaka + kokuten" which are 2 osts that combine for a single character and imo is one of my favorite osts

One of my top favorite anime songs out of the most recent releases might be The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2 Part 2 - Opening | Nemurasareta Lineage. Very good even if you don't watch the series I recommend giving it a listen to
was it total or montly number of plays because i can understand many of those being popular now but seeing lain on 2nd place, which i loved ever since i started my anime life, is kind of crazy but lain was always that hidden gem you would have to dig out
also i not so long ago was explained that lain boa is not the same boa as the one from inuyasha and it kind of make sense now but i once thought it was one and the same for a long time

Noragami got the No Gane No Life treatment in that they made 2 seasons and there hasn't been any word since. It is a great series but because it doesn't have a proper ending, people probably won't recommend it out of consideration for that fact.

Regarding the previous top endings on spotify.
31 Fireworks and 29 Suzume, 22 Demon slayer movie are movie endings so they were likely excluded from the previous top "anime ending" songs list as movie songs aren't quite the same thing
also #10 walk like an Egyptian and the other independently famous songs were probably excluded from the other list because big western song most popular for non-anime reasons are definatley cheating for a list like this.

Honestly,I think Silent of Voice isn’t“totally compete”,maybe because I watch its manga. So I think that Your name definitely have a “better write/pace”, because it’s original movie.
And Silent of Voice is a manga after all,so it can’t be completely finished with a movie time.
Example: there are “the main characters’s mental thoughts in childhood “ and “the things after movie ending” ,but the movie ending want to show “everything’s fine”,so there’s a little bit strange 😂

I liked Your Name, but in general I'm not too much a fan of standalone movies. The time constraints just always make them feel fall short in some way or other.
The only movie I didn't feel like that with was Silent Voice - imho best standalone anime movie not even close.

I was surprised that homua from mugan train wasn't higher.
I stopped watching sao because of the ending of season 1,then I heard that Kirito (the MC) doesn't doesn't get his character arc for three seasons (bad storytelling idea)(I thought Kirito and Asuna were the flattest characters in the show),then someone tried to convince me it wasn't an Isekai and I dropped it, one of the few I never plan on going back to
