Thank you Tammy. I've been lost. I've loved art since I was a little kid, I would spend hours just to create. I'm 19 this year, lost with my studies. Hearing you say "what's the point of it all" really resonated with me. One day, I know for sure, I will succeed as a creative, as someone who has dreams to start her own small art business.
Your such an inspiration, I've been struggling artist for 20+ years, it hasn't progress beyond a hobby, I've worked for companies but never worked for myself.
I'm a freelance writer, but I had to pick up a part-time job this year because things got rocky. Today I put in my two weeks' notice at the part-time job to get back to writing full-time. Though I work with words, it's an art form that brings me so much joy, even when the work itself isn't that creative at times. To hear "it's time to be an artist" on the day I put in my notice...I'm a little teary! Congrats to you on everything you've accomplished, btw, and thank you for this timely video.

Right at the perfect time... this video touched me deeply. I am making the jump to be an artist... I'm 44 and my children are older now so I have more time for myself. Art is the only thing that feels comfortable right now, so I'm going in. Made a screenshot of "It's time to be an artist". After trying so many things in the past 25 years, I dare to dream of a possibility of making a living with art. I have to dream.

I’ve been sculpting all day and thinking the one thing I can do that a robot or so can’t do is sculpt,as that I know of! I'm 13 and want to start my own little business, to help out with my parents financial struggles, failure scares me but I know I should give it a go. You're videos truly help me so, so, much. the reason i started making studio vlogs is because your studio vlog was the first one that i saw 🥺🥺 i hope the art community on YT gets stronger because it gives me comfort to know we're not the only artists out there (and thank you so much for this video it made me feel so much better, i recently quit my job to pursue my hopes of a successful art small biz and my confidence has been going THROUGH IT :'D)

Im currently in my final year of highschool and i can't express how comforting this video and your channel is to me. Ive always been told that art can never be something that'll make you enough money to live comfortably. I discovered digital art in lockdown and made up my mind to be an artist at that time. In my country, engineers and medical students, CA or other "in demand" jobs are valued more. Whenever i tell someone that I want to become an animator, they say that i won't make a living out of drawing cartoons. I believed that for so long and tried to find another "rich" career. But since the last year, I've come to an conclusion, just like you, that I can't live with a normal job and work even if I hate it. Everyone says don't turn your passion into a career, it'll become a chore blah blah blah. But what can I do? Art is the only thing that calmed me down, loved me, made me feel better. Art will never become a chore for me, because I'll make sure it doesn't. I've got one more year of school and was demotivated many times. But now, I can say- with my heart begging for me to stay with art forever- it's time to become an artist. Thank you so much Tammy, so much love from this future artist:)

This made me feel so much better...Just the inspiration to maybe start trying. I'm older than you are, and was told my entire life that art isn't a career. I had a break down at my cooperate job today, because I don't fit in it. I can't necessarily quit it yet, but maybe I can also try a little bit to make something comfy on the side for myself that does bring me joy.

I really needed this video, it made me tear up and reminded me that I’m on the right path. No matter how hard and stressful all of the pressures of social media and money that come with being an artist it truly brings me deep fulfillment. Like nothing else ever has… You really said it so eloquently too. I've been in the midst of an internal struggle for the past few weeks regarding my artistic status and my financial situation as a full-time artist - and yet, yet... I'm getting little motivational messages from everywhere (both real and virtual) that keep pushing me to believe and be certain: I've tried to have a "normal" activity and it's the only one that makes me feel alive.
