These are all of Gregory's cut voice lines from FNaF SB's Pre-Release build. A lot of these are just responses to dialogue from the Freddy video ( • All UNUSED Freddy Voic... ), while others are misc or reactive and often missing proper context. - เกม
I’ve harped on her voice acting a bit, but that “FREDDY! NO!” honestly sounded really genuine

I know Gregory's crying is cursed, but I do wish they kept it alongside many other voice lines in the game. It just shows how Gregory is starting to bond with Freddy. Also, it's supposed to be a child, so I don't think a child like Gregory would have the most beautiful crying. The "Freddy, no!" Plus the "Leave him alone!" It makes it sound like Gregory really cares about Freddy, when in game (best to my knowledge, haven't seen playthroughs so correct me if I'm wrong) Gregory is pretty cold to Freddy throughout the game besides a few cutscenes. He's either scolding him or yelling. So I wish these lines of Gregory being vulnerable were shown. He's just a kid in a giant mall with creepy animatronics trying to kill him. He knows what Vanny did to the other kids. It just makes sense for Gregory to always need Freddy there. He's the only one he can trust.
You're right it's a shame that Steel Wools had to cut so much content from the game including Gregory's voice lines because during the game i felt that he was too independent and capable of doing almost everything alone to be just a little kid trapped in a mall with dangerous robots that try to kill him.
So there are very few moments in which the bond between Gregory and Freedy is felt which makes me think that Steel Wools maybe could develop their friendship better in the DLC but without having more information it's hard to know what will happen

He thought it was some kind of voice protected button so he said what vanny said followed by the command "disassemble vanny" because that's what she did 👍

Stuff like this really makes me wish these lines weren’t cut out. The crying, even though not very well acted, really shows a side to Gregory that’s very clearly emotionally attached to Freddy. Reminds me of Cassie, when deactivating Roxy, she cries for a bit after.
A lot of these lines remind you that Gregory is still a kid, despite having some edgy-ness to his tone. He’s still a kid trapped in a scary situation, it’s like they cut out a good chunk of his personality honestly.
I do hope in a future update they can add some of these lines back.

The too hot Gregory line is mostly likely from a cut gameplay part of the game where you melt down an endo, ya know, for the faz camera
Or maybe from when he is running from Roxy and gets triggered if you touch the fire
It was most likely meant for the cut boiler room mission because in the pre release version of the game there is no fire in that one room in Roxy race way

Bruh, they really should have kept his response to the party pass in the game. I've seen criticisms that Gregory doesn't really sound/act like a kid for most of the game. He's a kid alone stuck overnight in a massive Dave and Buster's with free reign to any of the games and attractions. Any kid I know (especially myself at his age and, admittedly, now) would be over the moon at the prospect.
You can hear genuine, childlike delight at the chance of being able to play on any attraction in the Pizzaplex. He really does sound like a kid in a candy store and it's honestly so damn endearing and adorable. Could also go a ways to show that, despite Gregory having some edge to his personality, he's still a kid.
more cut things from this game, Steelwool really created so much content and than cut out so much of it, i will never understand why. When scott said the game was delayed and said it was like a cake that needed more time to cook because it was too big, i dont think anyone thought that and went "woah less stuff" everyone thought it meant lots of stuff where in reality the cake was very underdone and all the extra stuff was cut off and placed out of sight for no reason.
Probably from the pressure of the fans wanting it sooner.
I believe the reason the game came out so unfinished was due to the fans pressuring the game’s release, as well as the company Sony pressuring them to release it by the end of the year or there’d be no deal. At least that’s what I heard
They made a cake, and then gave us half a slice
All these voice lines and cut areas/secret areas and extra assets make me think the cake was underdone because they decided to make a whole new cake last minute tbh.
On one hand, I’m kinda glad Gregory’s reaction to cutting himself by accident in the vent was cut. It makes him seem a bit less sensitive and more independent, which makes the dynamic between him and Freddy a little more comedic. Also just makes it a bit more believable he’d be able to navigate against the animatronics easily.
But on the other hand I absolutely hate the robot Gregory theory. Really wish the line about Gregory bleeding hadn’t been censored.
The Vanny Ending lines are REALLY interesting since from my understanding all the endings are pre-rendered videos in-game with their audio baked into the video itself. Don’t see why that would be in there? Not sure if that lends any credibility to my older theory that the comic book endings were a solution to cut back on cinematic rendering to meet a deadline.
Gregory isn’t independent though, he’s incredibly reliant on Freddy. And even if he was more independent, I fail to see how him saying “Ow! My arm!” would take away from that.
I think Freddy and Gregory do kind of end up forming a ‘rebellious kid and overly concerned dad’ dynamic, so I think the healing station scene is just funnier/demonstrates their dynamic better by having Gregory seemingly trying to hide the injury or not being that phased by it.
Gregory as a character in my eyes is more wreckless and wiling to stick his neck out, while Freddy still abides by his safety protocols.
Gregory still relies on Freddy since he grows an attachment to him throughout the game, but also realizes Freddy is his lifeline for the night.
I hate your theory about the endings
You know in the books that the robo kids do bleed even though they are robots. So even if the voice line was in the game that wouldn't change anything about the theory about Gregory being a robot. Also in the DLC it shows him in the cams NOT grown up after years which gives more proof he's a robot.

And I thought I wanted to give Gregory a hug before. Some of these are truly very sad, it's completely understandable and realistic that a kid his age would be scared shitless in a situation like this

Most of them would fit in the game with no problem they were probably cut due to time constrained. Hopefully they add these back in with future updates.

0:55 is probably a response to Freddy's unused voiceline "Where are you going?" Then probably proceeded by his other unused voiceline about needing a map

I really wish all these lines were in game, Gregory is my favorite FNAF protag but I'll admit he was not very well fleshed out in game (even though he's the only fleshed out protag we've ever gotten but anyways) these lines would have definitely made him a better character altogether.

The crying isn't for when moon takes freddy, it's for a scrapped ending that has freddy being destroyed by the other animatronics. Which there are lines for in the files

I’ll never understand why they didn’t get an actual young boy to voice Gregory or at least a male who can do a young sounding voice. Girls are used a lot for boy voices in cartoons (Tara Strong for example), but it really didn’t work well here imo. Gregory’s voice actress sounds like one of those asmrs where the speaker is actually a woman but they’re trying to sound male and the acting is poorly done.
I think I would liked to have these voicelines in the main game
