Can you please made read new fairy tale rescuing princess and dragon story Swan Lake Odette you know she turn into swan by day or swan by night wizard of oz
Beautiful and calming. Is this the full unabridged real story of Snow White from the real author or is this a water downed version? Still this is nice.
Hi Tammie! So glad you enjoyed. Yes, this is indeed the original tale, translated. It almost certainly has its roots elsewhere in German folklore but the Brothers Grimm are understood to be the first to formally publish this work. Needless to say there are many translations, resulting in slight variance, but they all stem from the same work.
Oh my. Those Grimm boys sure knew how to make a dramatic ending. The original “fairytales” were not made for a Disney audience! Some adults think it’s bad enough in Disney films, that parents or guardians seem to drop like flies. Imagine if the original Grimm tales were depicted! Bedtime stories for children, these are not! Thank you for reminding me what the original stories were like. I haven’t read them in ages
That lovely story I have my story from Roman-Christian-Celtic Fairy Tales Mia-Helena and the Seven Christians and Israeli Fairy tales Little Yocheved about the Rugrats Movie 1998 Oc
I did not expect the mirror to be such a blabber mouth rat. I thought it was just supposed to be a judge on who's the fairest/most beautiful of all.. didn't expect the dash of a GPS on Snow White's location to be thrown in there. For any huntswoman/man successful in taking out the mirror 👉🏼💰💰💰.
All villains The Evil Queen from Snow White and seven dwarfs Lady Tremaine from cinderella Maleficent from sleeping beauty Ursula from the little mermaid Gaston from the beauty and beast The Queen of hearts from alice in wonderland The Red Queen from Alice Through the Looking Glass Jafar from aladdin Cruella de vil from 101 dalmatians Dr.facilier from the princess and the frog Mother Gothel from tangled/rapunzel Evanora, also known as the Wicked Witch of the East from oz the great and powerful The Candy Witch from hansel and gretel Hades from hercules Captain Hook from Peter pan Rumpelstiltskin from rumpelstiltskin from rumpelstiltskin Big Bad Wolf from the little red riding hood/ the three little pigs Rothbart from swan princess Hans from frozen Queen Narissa from enchanted Winfrith and her two sister mary and sarah from hocus pocus Queen Malvina Monroe From Disenchanted
Three observations: The bed-testing scene is right out of Goldilocks' story. I wonder which story came first? The story doesn't make it clear that there is a second king with a second kingdom. It sounds like Snow White married her half brother. Who put the iron shoes on the fire and then put them on the Queen's feet? That just came out of nowhere, like the Brothers Grimm were in a hurry.

Wait, so the queen was punished with hot iron slippers? Is similar to the iron boot used in medieval times. For torturing.
I imagine so! Certainly a terrifying prospect
Was she 7 years old the whole time? Kinda weird lol
Thanks for listening, Victor!
I mean the mirror was over there starting stuff....could've just taken one for the team
Thanks for listening!
LOL

So Jacob and Wilhem combined the three bears and Snow White together.
So many of these fairytales share familiar aspects. It’s almost like pantomime tradition in the way the structure replicates. Thanks for listening 🎧!
The Grimm brothers are the original artists Disney just changed it a bit
His voice is so great 😊

It’s certainly got a little edge to it, eh? 😂
Still sure to be better than the new movie they're coming out with
Grimm Bros did not write this story. They copied it from the oral tales preservered in Old German which they were studying.,
It’s true there were many adaptations written around these times. But the Brothers Grimm versions just seemed to stick!
I had to keep going back and rehearing the end, in case I missed a detailed because wow.....
It’s certainly different to the version we know today…
Well that was horrifying 😮
They certainly didn’t hold back on the endings, Max 😬
Wonderful audiobook 👧
Thanks so much for listening!
