Your review is my review of Celebrity Beyond. We were disappointed with the quality of food, and taste.we tried all the specialty restaurants because we had the unlimited dining package and we were not happy with any of the specialty dining food. The common area furniture was gross with stains. The employees were ok, only came in contact with two pleasant ones. The entertainment was decent. We love cruising but the quality of the big ships are not what we expected. We really enjoy being on Seabourn, Silver Seas for food quality and service. We are going on MSC World of America in April 2025 and hopefully we will have a great experience.
We had great service and food on Beyond, i'm sorry to hear this! I hope you have a great experience on World America, and you will have to let me know how it was. I will be staying away from MSC for now but I will be back. I would love to try Seaborn and Silver Seas one day, there quality sounds amazing!
So if the food was so bad in the buffet why didn't you eat in the dining room more often. I try to avoid the confusion and hustle bustle of the buffet on any line. The dining room is a lot less hectic experience.
How can you comment on the food quality if you only dined in the Main Dining room once your entire cruise? MDR on MSC ships have a better selection & service than the buffet does.
I was scared! My last experiences were bad so we waited to try until then. And it was good as I said. I have tried the MDR on all of my MSC ships and the Buffet was better in my opinion.
We went in winter and I’m assuming that is why, and MSC is becoming so popular now. Your price is still a good deal for the ports. TYVM for watching! Enjoy your cruise!
I did a sailing just before this one on MSC Euribia and I was not happy with the MDR food. And yes I think it’s fair as I state in the video the one time we tried the MDR on World Europa it was good. This is my view and as I state, it has gotten better every time I sail.
Msc Euribia - I mostly agree - on ship staff amazing , outside staff ... mostly cold and not friendly , buffet better food , main dining room dinner - a clear disappointment Main dining room breakfast/ brunch lovely , non alcoholic package lovely , rooms nice , ship beautiful and shiny, activities not that many , best entertainment the big band on the other side of the casino - excellent , theatre shows - mostly variety - leaves much to be desired but good views ... It's your budget and the itinerary that determines taking an MSC cruise - if you go on Knowing that the food is meh and its not entertainment heavy or exciting for adults ... you will be less likely to be upset.(probably great for doing lots of excursions and not too many sea days in my opinion).
I was kind of excited when I first saw this ship, but after watching a few videos my impressions of the ship are beautiful and boring. On Royal Caribbean they utilize all of their space and have tons to do all the time. This ship looks like there is just nothing going on at all. Big open wasted space. I don't know maybe I'm wrong, but that's my impression. I'll stick to Oasis. Still hoping someday somebody actually matches RC.
So your complaints are that the food was the bad thing but you keep harping on the value. Hmm. IIRC you stated that other brands are 2x the cost, is the extra $1200 worth the food difference? What kind of food are you expecting? Much like you we have been on Euriba. We have been in the suite with a hottub on the balcony. We have also been in Yacht Club with the duplex suite on that ship. We have booked World Europa Yacht Club Duplex suite in the Mediterranean. We have been on Royal Carribean and Carnival. We feel that the price we pay on MSC is significantly cheaper and on the whole is comparable to both RC and Carnival. We also like that we were asked TWICE if we wanted a drink package on MSC. On both RC and Carnival, you could not go 30' without being asked and if you were in the buffet, it was constant. Ben and David, imo, were wrong. You even stated why I believe they were wrong. You went a cruise for what purpose? I suspect it was a vacation. Ben and David do not go on cruises for a vacation. You even stated, it is their JOB. Ben and David, imo, acted like entitled brats. They have NO right to use MSC as their film shoot location. And before people start commenting that it is a public location, it is NOT a public location. If it were a public location you would not have to pay to get onboard. Now, the most important thing . . . you are not that good looking. STOP zooming in on your face. Put your camera about 10 inches further back and stop with the editing for the zoom effect.
Bro… coming from a dude that looks like Sloth from the Goonies, you might want to chill on commenting on other people’s looks 😂😂😂 and certainly take your own advice and stay off camera. No one wants to see your (insert obscenity adjective here) face, just show the room and stay off other people’s video comment sections. (And yes, went and saw your ONE video you posted… again, avoid mirrors when doing room tours, the internet will thank you).
Misery love’s company…bored much? It’s always people that look like you, talking about how someone else looks.. Check that mirror first! I see you try to speed past it, I wonder why? Hmmm🤔
@@domoniquegordon3542 The zoom effect was bad videography. I still suggest that he put the camera about 10" further back. This is basic 101 videography and framing.
@@davidbergerson looked for you on imdb. Do you use a pseudonym for your professional work? I thought that if we have an opportunity to view your work we can all make improvements. I'm always looking to improve.
I was not impressed with MSC when I went last year from Brooklyn. It was a great price, but I am very reluctant to go back. The same uninteresting food at the buffet all week long gets tired fast. The people were all over the place pushing in with no order along the buffet. The staff could care less. I gave up trying to get a drink at most bars due to the crowds, so I saved money. The MDR looked like a dated bland dinner and charges for a second entree. The portions were not big. I felt this was deliberate to get you to go to the pay restaurants instead. The entertainment was only good if you paid the extra charge venues. It's a good overall price. I could not pick things like my dinning time without paying more. Just go with the idea you get what you pay for.
We've done MSC 3 times so far. Really can't beat the price which keeps us coming back.
@@R_manatee I agree, it has the best opening price point and the rooms are very nice for that price
Well, we're going out of Naples next May. I hope the food is better than you describe. Thanks for the review.

when in the winter did you go? deciding on going either February or April next year for the price point.. Thanks!
The first week of February this year, the weather was perfect. In fact I overpacked.
So if the food was so bad in the buffet why didn't you eat in the dining room more often. I try to avoid the confusion and hustle bustle of the buffet on any line. The dining room is a lot less hectic experience.
We did end up going only once and it was good, on the last night. You’re right we should have went to the MDR.

It has a deck 13 I believe
I just doubled checked and it says it doesn’t but I could be wrong still
Omg 1200$ for two is a good deal.
I paid 3000€ for two for 7 nights in this coming august(not a balcony room 😢). Btw we are exited…

To be fair, don’t you think it’d be hard to critique the food if u ate at the buffet 98% of the time?

Yes for sure, if it wasn’t for the 5 port days it would not have been enjoyable at all, at least for me. Ty for watching

@@calledout4437 I agree, Royal did it first and better.
That balcony is funky. Extra Long. MSC seems to have missed the mark.
Greatest comment lol
Its hard to watch, when 90% of the video is your face, pal! We only want to hear you ,we want to see that beautiful ship!
