Great presentation .... that pair of white gloved hands dancing around like the perfect couple in silence is terrific and helped me a lot to R&R the motherboard.
if you want to remove the heatsink easily without full disassembly, all you need to do is remove the cover, remove the gpu, unscrew the CPU heatsink screws and 1 screw inside the battery compartment and disconnect the fan cable, then you can lift that part of the case slightly and pull the heatsink out. this is how Acer do it as well, it's stated in the service manual.
This 'master' doesn't know how to disassemble this laptop! It just unscrews everything. I didn’t know how to open the laptop until I realized that there was a key.

@@nejdet5155Ik this is old but yes they are both compatible, 5920 board is actually identical to 5920g it just doesn't have the GPU slot soldered in
