Subscribed again. Could have sworn I was already subscribed bc I know your voice. Lol I listen to your channel at night to relax before bed. Unless there's another channel. If so it's a win win for me. Lol God bless and sweet dreams to all.
Starting a second replay, JD. Out of all your stories from the very beginning, however, I do think Hiram and Rose is my all-time favorite. Some foster kids are well-cared for, but so many aren't and it can be devastating especially when close siblings are separated. My demented ex-mil housed foster kids and never should've been near any of them. The one I remember most was a very young teenager; I was at the house when the social worker brought him over early one evening. Right there in front of God and everybody, mil asked him point blank where he preferred to be hit, on the head or in the stomach? He blanched and said he didn't want to be hit anywhere, of course. Next morning he got on the school bus and the driver said he got out at school - but he never showed up for a class and nobody ever saw him again. I don't blame him for making tracks. I would have too. Half a century later he still comes to mind; I hope his story had a happy ending like Hiram's. Thank you again for telling us before about his family connections.
