Matt Heafy from Grammy-nominated metal band Trivium has a signature guitar model from Epiphone that costs about 800 bucks. It's got two humbuckers and quite versatile for most genres. And we're not "calling him out". We just want to be able to afford the guitar so we can put it in our shrines to this dreamboat.

Hope they release a more affordable Epiphone version later. A good number of people who actually have the money to afford this probably don't listen to 5SOS. A lot of the band's fans are on the younger side, meaning that they're probably only just getting started with the guitar so a budget option might be something to think about for Gibson/Epiphone.

I have actually orderd this guitar, Iisten to their music and like their songs but bought it more for the looks of it. I dont think anyone should buy this as a beginner guitar absolutly not actually. You should buy a guitar at this price when you have a few years experience and want something new.

I love my 1960 Melody Maker! I've had original Melody Maker's for 50 years. I put a pair of (real) PAF's in it. Mine's the early single cut, double pickup MM-D. I've probably owned 30+ Melody Makers over my life.. My real fave was a 1961 MM-D that I stupidly traded away in the mid 80's.
i’m so proud of him. he has inspired me so much in guitar playing, i couldn’t have gotten to where i am without him. so happy for him and this crazy accomplishment. hopefully one day i can get this!!
Please, I am so proud of Michael. He almost gave up on guitar because it was too hard & he couldn’t play it at first but his dad convinced him to carry on. Look at where Michael is now, he’s got his signature guitar. So proud of him
Ayyyy I just started lessons! it's a lot harder than it looked, but michael is my main motivator, especially bc he had trouble motivating himself to learn for similar reasons

This guitar has the most Pop Punk inlays I've ever seen.
Appetite For Metal The Ed Sheeran Martin guitar for "X" had the same inlays in neon green. The matching colored logo looks great too.
