I am watching this on a replay. Congratulations on your anniversary. I have been happily married for 53 years! My husband just heard your comment about “I take my wife everywhere so that way I don’t have to kiss her goodbye”…he said “ahhh, that’s so cute!”
Years ago I met Ike Cole who was Nat King Cole's brother. He signed an autograph to me that read.... "Remember always, you have to like the one you love." Happy Anniversary to all. We made it to 49 1/2 years when my husband passed, 11 years ago now.( I'm watching this in 2024) Loved this technique Gina. Will have to shop your store soon to pick up a few of these cover plate dies.
My husband and I have been married 46 years and friendurance for 47 1/2 years. You guy’s crack me up! Love the cards. I have the Tapestry set and now I know what to do with it. Thank you for a fantastic video.
Gina I really enjoyed these techniquesThank you for sharing so many options for using what we have in new ways. I also want to give Tom a thumbs up!The background music is very relaxing.
Hi Tom and Gina . I like your guitar playing Tom. I have never told you that before. I also think that you do a great job behind the scenes. I was married for 50 years and 4 days. My husband had Alzheimer’s ,diabetes and leukaemia. Alzheimer’s was for 12 1/2 years. He stayed with me the whole time until the last 60 days he spent in hospital. He had surgery on a blocked artery in his leg. Long story short. It caused his death . I am just now getting out and about and loving card making. He passed four years ago and I am Only now getting back into my oil and water colour painting and loving all of it. Can use the water colour in my card making
Love this. And saving to rewatch again and make notes. Congrats on 37 yrs with Tom. Yesterday the 5th was 52 years for us. I've known my husband since I was 14. Long time 😁
6 days late here…I agree with you, Gina, with gluing the cover plate die cuts or any “holy” die cuts 😅….I think it’s easier to just apply tiny dots of glue with a fine tip glue bottle. With just a little bit of care and getting the nak of applying just the tiniest dots (it’s practicing hand control,) it’s easy to get everything straight if u need to adjust and if you didn’t make your dots too big…there’s no glue mess. Thanks for the tip tips…to keep it all clear for the next time. Love this technique❤
Didn't get to see the live, but am so happy to have caught the replay. This is just beautiful. Might even be able to do Christmas cards with this technique.
Happy belated birthday anniversary! My husband and I just celebrated 40 years married and 43 together! I am a long time crafter, but just now getting into card making. Your videos are very informative and fun🙂
Beautiful card as always! You are so talented. 37 years, that’s awesome! My husband and I are also married 37 years, March 1 like you and Tom! Small world!
Watching this on the 12th, MY birthday. 😊 LOVE this technique & your cards, especially the pink one! I’m hoping to get crafty $$$ for my birthday, but I’m working on purchasing the full-size ink pads! Let’s see… anniversary in Aug… Christmas… 😂😂😂 My hubby & I are also best friends, 38 yrs in Aug! 😊❤️
1st time watching I am from 🇬🇧. Just loved your demonstration, it was stunning. Will certainly be back to watch more. I have clicked the Subscribe & the Like. Thank you for your time & support. Xx ❤
Beautiful card and great idea. You need to get the Gemini Die Brush Tool & Foam Pad (currently under $10) or something similar to quickly and somewhat cleaner way to remove the small pieces from the dies. I use it inside a box/container. The foam pad (and box) helps it keep it from getting everywhere, and the roller brush quickly does the job well. As for the mini fine line glue bottles, lol, I have lost more of the little tops than I care to remember. I now use a stick pin.
I love watching this video .... I do hope to be able to watch you live sometime. I will be looking to see when your live videos are showing for me in Northern NY. I can't wait to try this technique.
I don't have this cover plate but I have several others.. hoping they work as wonderfully!! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful new technique with us!!
Hi Gina & Tom, wow 37 yrs and you still have a laugh together! That’s why you’re still together because you make each other happy. 😊 Love the card I’ve made a few like this. It’s a great technique.
I rub a dryer sheet over detailed dies before i run them through the machine. The die cut comes out really easily I would think it would work well on a similar cover plate.
Such a clean and elegant idea. Great idea for all the backround dies, and a fun one to teach a beginner! Thanks Gina….my husband and I have been. Happily married for 51 years!
Hmm, very interesting. I might try to stamp the image on very pale color card stock and cover it with a white cover plate. Wondering how it might look. Fun to play. Thanks for the idea, Gina!
Catching the replay. The cards are lovely! I'm loving the technique; I've never seen it done before. Hubby and I will celebrate 25 years on Christmas. My hubby is my best friend, always love hanging out with him. I can't wait to see the new release!
