It's funny how Ainsley Harriott was originally one of the celebrity chefs on Ready Steady Cook before becoming the host of the show in August 2000 after Fern Britton left. I bet that the creators decided to add the Quickie Bag Challenge when Ainsley took over to keep him cooking with the chefs in the 10 minute challenge though....
