Hey so just wanna post here also that this is my first impressions video and that it deserves to be tested fairly over time. I’ve done a couple streams with it now and loving it! Feels nice and solid and just want to point out that the buttons are quite loud tho so hopefully victrix will add some shock absorption. Will continue to update my opinions on discord/twitter/on stream etc :)
Update 2- March 9th: Hopefully you’ve had a chance to keep up to date with my developing opinions on recent streams but just in case I’ll update here too. I feel really positive about pretty much every aspect of the Victrix Pro FS though the sound of the buttons hurts my ears a bit and the hardness of impact results in finger fatigue that I’m not used to. Victrix is working hard to find solutions with me and once I’ve explored their options I’ll post an update video for sure!
I get the clicking is tactile and loud but that's why I recommend sanwa compatible button silencers they work great and absorb a bit of the impact as well as making the buttons a lot more quieter @nihongogamer
Hey guys working on getting subtitles done! For now the first half of the video should have accurate translations. Hopefully will have the second half corrected soon :) [Edit: ok it's fully translated now]
Bougie stick is bougie. JLF sticks are mad easy to mod, and you can get a fighting edge with the same aluminum finish for like half the price. Edit: NEVERMIND YOU CAN CHANGE THE COLOR OF YOUR LIGHTS ON YOUR STICK THAT’S SO WORTH IT WTF

Get a qanba drone and put some sanwa buttons on that babe. Even a sanwa jlf stick if you really want. +- 90 bucks total all in all, that's what I've paid for it so far.
@@n0isyturtle not necessarily, the Hori Real Arcade pro 4 Kai and viewlex is around $149.99 and Hori Fighting Edge ,Razor Panthera and Qanba obsidian is $199.99 (200 dollars basically) and the mayflash F500 elite (buttons are sanwa) that's $145.99 along with the Madcatz Ego. All great quality grade fightsticks . Now if you want this stick or the Qanba Dragon which are more luxurious than that's a different story.
He's spot on about the iphone business with this stick. I don't play fighting games anymore and this thing actually got me checking the shop link for the thing and even thought about buying it.
You’re really great at reviewing products! This was your first time using it but you pretty much sold me on trying this out- and I’m not even a hardcore gamer or pro.
Id just wait as I catch my opponent in a super while his health is low stand up and Drop the Stick (ala' Mic Drop) and walk off so i could see the crowd blow up! Hell i may not win the next round but that moment would live on for a long time :)
I remember in the late 80s when I was 4 or 5 my father (RIP) got me a NES advantage, only had A and B and like a turbo and slow motion button. Probably my first gaming stick peripheral I ever had.
You're right. I started off with a may flash F500 not too long ago. I only got into fighting games when DBFZ came out (because I only play on PC) and decided it would be more fun to start with a stick than with a controller. Took me a while to realize the reason the may flash is so cheap is because it comes with Chinese knock-off parts. The day I replaced them with Sanwa parts I had the same reaction. Didn't realize what I was missing out on until that moment.
You should do a video testing the speed of this stick compared to other sticks, to see if their claim of having the fastest response time holds true. Mainly i'd test against the razer panthera and the quanba obsidian.
Love the videos! But i really hope we can see some more variation. I know that this is what your interest currently lays.. but still hope to see some different content more from time to time. The trip to the tournament was a nice breath of fresh air. Hope we can see more stuff life that more often! Maybe something like hunting for good coffe at the place you live in and perhaps review it? im just naming this. I really love your content it helped me see things differently and relate on certain topics. Much love and take care!
Thanks for the review. I'm only a casual but I've been playing Tekken since the 90's and only started using a stick last year. Went from a Hori Pro to Razer Atrox (which I dig alot more), to now this beaut. Tax return money, screw it lol hopefully it arrives quick! Appreciate the vids dude..keep at it
I’ll get this stick just because I love premium products with the best build and materials used. If there is another, cheaper or more expensive, lemme know 😛
Can you do more practice in Tekken 7 with the stick? It’s always fun to see someone learn more about the game and even as a casual I think you’ve sold me on the stick just from a hobby perspective.
@@nakedbeekeeper9610 as far as I know the touchpad is the only thing is missing. And its 100 more expensive than other sticks. @@nakedbeekeeper9610 This is not an ad btw. They are obligated by law to label it an ad when it is an advertisement. Also the people that pay them for the ad tell them what to say. They didn't have to pay him to advertise and tell him what to say because they are very confident in their product. Also I'm pretty sure he contacted them and said "Hey I'll make a review on my 220k subs youtube channel in exchange for a free stick" just so he could get it for free. Not the other way around.
I got to mess around with one of the pre-retail models a few weeks ago. Everything NG says is true. I'll add it's surprisingly lightweight but still has enough heft to stay comfortably in your lap.
The only issue i have with it is the price. Ya its aluminum, ya it has lights. But you can honestly build a stick with a nice cool looking custom case (you dont even have to have waifus) with a good PCB that works on every console, whatever buttons you want (rgb if you wanted) and any lever you wanted (link, sanwa, hori) for a very similar price. And if your gonna be opening this thing up and swapping parts im confident you could just make a stick yourself. the "well what if they dont have the skill to make one" doesnt really apply
The arcade stick I didn't know I needed. $350 is a little steep, but eventually. I know someone in my FGC has one, so maybe i'll have to big him to play around with it. In the meantime, I like my Hayabusa.
What i notice from that is that it has little to no echoing from pressing buttons and from the stick. Feels higher quality and your opponent doesn’t hear your inputs as well
I hope this isn't one of those things where the review product is meant to be higher quality than what everyone else will get because this looks damn good.
I wanted to buy a stick (since pad is incredibly uncomfortable for me), and I was able to save 200$ to buy one. I’m trying to decide between this victrix one, and the qanba obsidian. What would you recommend?
That is a really beautiful Stick. Your video alone shows to me what a luxury product this has to be. Sadly I can not afford a Stick for over 300$ xD if i could, I would pre order it right away.
That makes sense considering this stick is overpriced and nothing special. The etokki Omni is the best pre made stick you can buy and that’s 200 dollars, or you could spend 350 on a cool case and an inferior lever.
I still find the Qanba Dragon more impressive. This stick is now the most expensive! Did I miss the touch pad? Ok so be very careful wearing watches and bracelets while playing on your stick. I let someone try out my Dragon(freaking button masher) and he unknowingly scratched my $300 stick! I've yet to get some touch up paint to restore it, but got dammit man. I'm curious about the weight. The Dragon is probably still the big boy.
I'm concerned about the cable getting hung on things when storing and transporting it. And there are reports of the horns having breakage issues and even coming pre-cracked from the factory due to overtightening. In fact, I've generally been surprised at how many quality control issues there seem to be and nobody seems to be able to get any customer support from Victrix at all. Otherwise, I would have jumped on that purple FS 12 leverless they released. It needs internal cable storage, better quality control, and someone to actually answer emails if I have a problem. Otherwise, I'm afraid to throw that much money at a product like this.
I had this idea for so long as i was inpired by the quick release wheel from cars. Glade to see an actual product of my imagination. Would by for tekken 7.
This is old tech. Phreakmods creates the link in like 2009. They were going to use his link and contacted him about it but decided to just use his idea in a poorer manner. After public outcry, he was compensated.
What would you say is a good entry Fighting Stick? I'am kinda interested in playing Fighting Games, but have difficulty with the Inputs on a PS4 controller. I know i just comes down to practise. But if i would want to try out a Fighting Stick, which would be good for beginners just to test it, which dosent cost a fortune? Or i'am thinking about if maybe a Fighting Pad like the Hori Fighting Commander would be better, or if i just should play and practise with the PS4 Controller, which is supposed to be pretty good for fighting Games from which i heard.
A really good deal I see on Amazon US right now (3/2/2019) is the Hori Real Arcade Pro: Soul Calibur 6 edition for PS4, on sale for $134.99. It uses the Hori Hayabusa stick and buttons (buttons are matte not glossy). I own this one, and I can say it is a really nice quality plastic casing with indentations on the sides to act as shallow handles, and the artwork is gorgeous. Good size and weight too. It's actually a new favorite of mine, and I own several other sticks that are more expensive. Aside from that, just watch for sticks that use Sanwa or Hayabusa stick and buttons (seimitsu is good too but less common on mass produced sticks). Most fightsticks that use those are good quality in general. The sub-$100 sticks are an option, but if you find yourself liking to play on stick, chances are you'll find yourself wanting to replace the cheap one since they arent always as reliable with lesser parts. Ps4 pad is definitely a solid choice too. Many pros use them too. But if you want a 6 button layout on the front, I also own a Hori fighting Commander and can confirm it is good quality and a solid dpad.
Yes! I said the same thing. I have no idea why companies are still making them in the Viewlix layout. Once you play the noir layout, it's hard to go back
One thing I don’t like about it is the cable wrap prongs on the back. Ruins the clean look. Either a well made, sturdy door or nothing would have been WAY BETTER. If they aren’t removable, it may be a deal breaker for me.
Great Review video but I think a lot of people agree, its too hard to get over the price for this thing. Its only mod friendly if you'r idea of mods are changing buttons and thats it. The only joystick you're going to fit in that case is a JLF because of how tight everything is in there. Let alone that PCB placement.
These are the same price as a PS5 with 2 controllers here in NZ. They fill 3 distinct buyer brackets... 1. Pros and people who think they're as good as the pros and NEED one... 2. Spoiled rich kids. 3. People who love gaming and don't have kids and have 6 figures to throw around on awesome stuff like this...
It's nice but I'll wait until a reseller in the UK has it in stock. I know if I order it direct then the shipping and customs charge will be ridiculous. Also wish they had a version where the stick and buttons were further away from each other. I always find extended gaming sessions to be uncomfortable when my hands and wrists are stuck in those positions.
Can you just imagine the disrespect you can do with that removable stick? Like you're fighting in tournaments and you get a super on your opponent, and while the animation is going on, you legit just take out the stick, flip it into the air, put it back, then finish off your opponent. Pretty sure that will get a big OHHHHH from tournaments
ive been trying yo buy this for month's since i first stumbled upon this video but they have been outta stock for half this year. :( but watching you enjoy this stick will make it worth once its finally in my hands
Rookie_Hitman I totally agree with you, 350$ is just too much for an arcade stick. I think the most suitable price for that arcade stick is 150$-200$ anything above that is way too much

That is such a harsh thing to do. I love it. LOL 21:12
It looks light. My arcade stick is pretty heavy and it’s like damn hate carrying this thing
Looks nice but I love my rap 4 kai
Looks great but that price is off putting.$349.99, but as said.. people buy Lamborghinis.
I can't believe it was birthed into the world for the first time with a big crusty fart as it's theme song.
man that stick literally costs as much as the ps4 it works for
ive been trying yo buy this for month's since i first stumbled upon this video but they have been outta stock for half this year. :(
but watching you enjoy this stick will make it worth once its finally in my hands
No doubt, this is a beautiful piece of hardware. But 350$ for an arcade stick?! That's insane.
Rookie_Hitman I totally agree with you, 350$ is just too much for an arcade stick. I think the most suitable price for that arcade stick is 150$-200$ anything above that is way too much
@@slxw818 I don't even think the Qanba Dragon and Hori Viwelix cost that much.
Waaww I'm amazed that u r sooo happy with your gaming n stuff. Do what u love n love what u do. Teehee
