  • Take a history walk around Flushing Meadows, the site of the New York World's Fair of 1939 and 1940. Includes home movies of the various buildings, including the Trylon and Perisphere, the theme structures of the World of Tomorrow, the opening speech by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, photos, and more. The historic fair started with an absolute wonderment after the years of depression, but ended with Germany invading Poland to start WWII in September. Home movies courtesy of the Prelinger Archives and Momento Studios. Additional music courtesy of David Fesliyan. Narration by Jason Donovan.
