In this video, I show you how to fix packet loss (which can cause lag spikes, latency, rubber banding, and more on your Xbox network connection) by adjusting QoS settings, and using a wired connection. You could also try restarting your router, using a different ethernet port on it, but do bear in mind, packet loss can occur on the cod server's end so if you've tried everything, it could just be them which would hopefully be resolved quickly!

same here, since the last patch I've been experiencing packet loss in every match when it connects to the servers in my country (Chile), but there isn't any packet loss when I play in brazilian servers. It seems that is a problem related with the internet company that we use and the Call of Duty servers, because the only players that are having this issue in my country are the ones with the same internet company.
Hardly ANY twitches lag and stuttering in my game! He deserves a like.
It’s the servers yeah but I believe it is implemented in the algorithm for people to experience packet loss, I will play several matches with no packet loss and then 15-20% for 5 games in a row. I’ll back out over and over until there isn’t is packet loss, while it is happening to no one in my party but me.

Not bad advice, but most of the issues are within the mw3 servers and networks.
Agreed 👍 there’s also so much we can do on our end but when the servers are bad.. 😂 hopefully it gets better soon!

I’ve done these things many times, most of the time it will work, but out of no where ill be playing n I’ll start lagging, but I’m not getting any kind of packet loss, no high latency, but I’ll be the only one lagging in my party

when i turn on qos tagging settings it doesnt let me in anymore it says network failed to connect
I want to use a wired connection but my pc and my Xbox are across my house from my router😭
I recently had a wifi outage so i had no internet… it came on this morning so i started playing cod but my first game in it said i had 20% packet loss and 50-60 ms ping

Yeah I've noticed since season 2 I've had packet loss and consistent lag every 15 seconds in every game. Not sure if it's because of the free trial or not but I went and bought the x series hoping I would get cleaner more updated servers but I was wrong

Even if my internet is plugged in, I still lag. Yet, streamers have perfect connection. My upload/download speeds are definitely not the issue according to the network diagnostic. I don’t understand how else to get better internet. I’m using the fastest internet in my area. Ethernet cable is plugged in and STILL NOTHING

When I enable both of the QoS, my nat type becomes unavailable. Any ideas?
If you're using a wired connection, I'd try just turning on the first option. If wireless, I'd try just the second option. Hope this helps!
When i try the qos thing and go into the game it just keeps saying networking failed to start.
Your network setup may not be compatible with QoS settings on then. Not all are unfortunately.
My internet never had any problems until the new season 3 reloaded update and now i cant get through a game of zombies without lagging out completely, multiplayer is unplayable coz of the lag spikes and rebirth/warzone lags so much my bullets dont register when im literally aiming right at people and all bullets would normally hit (dont have the best aim but defo shouldnt be doing that)

Literally not played this since completing the battle pass with spawn in it and it was changed for the worse which is why i stopped ppaying but just updated it and its worse than ever and im on series x
